    Intro

Welcome Pangle, pull up a chair and stay a while.
  4. Welcome Alex, we like photo's........
  5. Let me know when you have a free day or two Cliff. We will bring the cow, pig, chicken and holy water. My supply of virgins has dwindled over the years though. PM me or e-mail me and let me know. We can exhaust my many tackle boxes, they don't work too well either. Be well my friend!
  6. Hi Sam, sounds like you are having fun down under. Great photo's! I had an uncle who worked on the rigs in the North Sea so I used to get lots of first hand info on what it was like.
  7. Sincere condolences Fisherman. Moms are very special people, mine has been gone almost 4 years now and I still think of her every day. J...
  8. Hey Graeme why don't you come up to the OFC GTG at Lakair (June 18,19,20) and stay the following week?
  9. Thanks for sharing Connie, great report as usual. I hope that the gonads have found their way back home! I'm with Roy, the water level looks incredibly low.
  10. Sorry we will miss you too Kelvin. Solve the problem like I did, bring the girls with you. It's my 36th wedding anniversary on the 21st.
  11. You got a chiminea to bring with you....
  12. Sincere thank you for posting this Pikeguy, you made my day. My wife lost her Mom a few months back and she is (we are) struggling to deal with her Dad's emotions as they are all over the map. I think I will take him fishing this weekend and let him tell me about his life.....
  13. Take a look at this and some of the prices and lengths. Some of these match poles are 16 metres long! http://www.mavermatch.co.uk/index.php John..
  14. Good stuff Peter, great finish. You da pike man! Sorry you are not making Lakair this year.
  15. Talked to Kevin this morning. Says that water level verrrrrry low, no surprise. Launch still has lots of water. Docks are being modified but some are unusable. He did say that fishing has been good! I know, I know, they all say that....
  16. Looks like we will be there Rich. Looking forward to it.
  17. What Roy said........... Also the wood guys here in the city are getting more creative every year. They are cutting the "face cords" 12" long rather than 18" and quite a lot are debarking the wood so that the layman can't tell what wood it is. They sell the bark shredded as mulch for $120 a yard!
  18. Here in the city I would thankfully pay $300 a full cord delivered!!!!
  19. Do you want to spend $500 or $2500?
  20. Damn, you're fast!.....
  21. Maybe you could sticky this Roy??? Barbara and I are trying to get last minute accomodation and if successful we will be there with Big Cliff and his lovely lady Sue. Hopefully we will see all ya'all in a couple of weeks. J...
  22. What's their native country Art? Are they considered "welcome" or not in the Potomac?
  23. I don't think so Joey, the week Lew is referring to is July 3-10
  24. If being old school is having common courtesy and common sense then I suppose we are.........
  25. I'll get the boat in even if I have to unhook everything, reverse quickly and slam the brakes on.... Hopefully we will get some rain?????????????
