  1. Dang, you've let the inmates out? We should lock up our children!..
  2. Yup that's the closest. There is also a Bass Pro in Auburn NY.
  3. Welcome back Dan. Sounds like a great trip except for the drive home.
  4. Chances are you are giving it too many choices. Try putting "importing" into the search, should work for you. Also lot's of info if you Google it. Simple process if you have all your ducks in a row.
  5. OK, there's another 6 votes, we are back in the lead, let's keep her there!
  6. OK guys and gals we need a couple of hundred votes today. I'm sure that we all have and know many e-mail addresses to use Let's keep this at the top!
  7. Gotcha a few more today will go for it again tomorrow..
  8. Great essay Mackenzie. Will vote as often as possible and will forward to family. Thanks for posting Dad........
  9. Was there a police report?
  10. Help me understand the difference..
  11. Not if you are drinking it..........
  12. This is the response that I got from my geek...... Use Sophos anti-rootkit And yes we did have this bug. Its very nasty. It makes money from the redirects. It gathers pay per click affiliate money from Google and other ad networks.
  13. I guess I'm just too old to understand, or care what the hype is all about....
  14. I wouldn't go out on Lake O without one. I have a Raymarine unit, bought it on sale for around $150.00. I have a 3' stainless antenna with a coil at the base and unless you are planning to transmit from one side of the lake to the other it works well. I didn't have the available space to fold an 8' fibreglass antenna flat when not in use. I understand that the 4' shakespeare's work well too, although a little pricey.
  15. Great report Joey, awesome photo's.
  16. You're bringing tears to my eyes Roy!
  17. Awesome job Brian, I love those centre consoles.
  18. It's not the bass boat that is the problem. I wouldn't pull anyone, either on ski's or a tube, without a properly installed pole and tow rope.
  19. I have some strong opinions on this subject that I would be happy to share with you either by PM or over the phone. Based on a tragedy that occurred to a local family a year or two ago I wouldn't recommend it..
  20. Laz, Barbara and I were in Cabin 9 for a week in July. The screen door doesn't fit too well so thankfully the bugs will be pretty much done by the time you get up there. The cabin is small so plan on spending a lot of time on the water. The little cove that the cabin looks over gives a semi private spot to dock the boat. As previous posts say the water is down at least 2 1/2' possibly 3'. Weed growth, at least a few weeks ago, was not what it was last year so are probably going to find more along the North shore. You don't need to travel far to get into fish. As Rich says there are Muskie as well as Pike and Walleye spots less than 5 mins from the lodge. Get a map of the area Kevin sells them at the lodge, Have a great trip...
  21. Yup, great place, just got back from there a few weeks ago. Say hi to the crew for me! Wish I was coming with you.
  22. Bob, I had a large Silver Maple removed around 10 years ago now.......sounds a similar size. Had to come down in sections as the canopy pretty much covered the neighbours roofline. $600.00 then....including grinding the stump and roots. Very professional job done by a couple of Newfies, but not cheap.
  23. Not sure where you got the $500 from. KeelShield should be less than $50.00.
  24. From a quick Google search................. There are two critical questions to ask to determine if frozen canned goods are safe to eat. Is the seal intact or broken? If the seal is broken, has the food thawed? To test the seal, push on the end of the can or metal lid on top of the jar. If the vacuum seal is intact the lid will not move when it is pressed down. Check the seams carefully on commercially canned foods that have been frozen to make sure there are no openings. If the seal is intact, the food is safe to eat, even after it thaws. If the seal is broken and the food is frozen, either refrigerate the food and use it as soon as possible or keep it frozen until you plan to eat it. If canned food has a broken seal and has thawed, the safest approach is to discard the food. The food may have been warm enough for bacteria or mold growth. A can will often bulge when food is frozen in it. If a can is bulged--and still frozen--keep it frozen in the freezer until ready to use, then thaw in the refrigerator. A can that still bulges after thawing should be discarded. Be careful even if the bulge disappears after thawing. Look for any obvious signs of spoilage. Listen for the vacuum-release sound when opening the can. As an extra precaution with low acid food, boil the food 10 minutes before tasting.
