looks like spawning is done at Scugog too. I was out yesterday targeting walleyes at the deeper weed edge and got into some good OOS bass.

Better than Scugog.. The walleyes are far and few there but I have seen lots of musky being caught at Scugog . I know people are catching their limits of walleye on Rice this year. They all catch them at the weed edge

wait for colder weather for shore walleye fishing and use a suspending lure and work it slowing at night time. if you fish at Gores landing, your best bet is when the north wind is blowing. Most of the walleye you will catch will be over the zone 17 slot limit in the fall, so if you are planning to keep the fish, go to BOQ based on the same method.

evening bits now at weed edges are hot now on rice. 7 to 10 feet deep with small jigs. they will soon move to shallow weedflats when the water gets cooler.
