Great report Dan and that one shot of the waves pounding shore really shows how rough the water was.Many Pics can't always show the true size of the waves .This shot tells all. Nice healthy fish looks like a fine weekend. MTP

I can't believe a fish made it inside Roy's boat.You do realize the divers he hired to put the fish on Paul's line were not cheap. Too bad I missed you guys but I was camping in Ontario. Glad you enjoyed our Belle province and the great time at Roy's. Mike

Hey man hang in there try throwing your lures near some weeds.Use some suspending rapalas and try the pause technique.Twitch side to side and pause 4 to 5 seconds.Try some mepps and even white tubes.Do the time and the pike will be prime.Good luck. MTP

Well I am off tomorrow I am going Camping in Ontario 4 days off Camping and well fishing and fishing and maybe eating, some sleeping ,and then more fishing. We are off to Long-Sault Parkway campground in Ontario.You know that place where MJL gave that fabulous Carp report with his Dad.I was going to try my Luck at Carp but I won't bother since JPD our team mate on team #4 just caught us a 38 inch carp .Check it out in the Tourny section what a monster.I don't think I can top that one. I am Limited to my canoe this weekend so hopefully I will have something to report and I will try very hard not to flip the canoe as I just replaced my camera that was toast when I flipped the 12 ft tinny. We will be 12 couples with kids should be a grand time.My brother in law is itching to fish, also my 16 year old nephew and I have 2 new kids to introduce to fishing.Pan fish here we come. #1 Red Devil #2 Mepps I have caught more fish on red devils and mepps than all other Lures.Pike bass and walleye My newest favorite is the suspending Pink Rapala X-Rap what a freaking lure.Fish magnet. Rapala husky jerk Yozuri hydro minnow Moss Boss Jitter bug oh so many I like.I never keep the same lure on for long. MTP

Yup gone up to $1.06 from 96 cents here.Every year labour day weekend we go camping and I have to pull my heavy tent trailer so the oil companies always make sure it cost's more to tow that weekend CRIMINALS

Terry you won't need the lead core if you are fishing for eyes in November.Most of the fish are suspended in the 10 to 30 ft range if you want to release a fish you are best to stay above 30ft or there is a risk that the walleyes swim bladder will swell and kill the fish.Mann's lures dive down deep enough a good set of clip weights can get you down and are very simple to use.
