  1. haha that's a good question.... I always forget to do it. Us walleye guys have much to learn about bass fishing, and walleye thumb isn't a pretty sight.
  2. Love the shoulders on those walleye... definitely big fish! That's a good tally, but does that include the minnows used for bait?
  3. X 5 on sculpin, we catch them smelting all the time
  4. That walleye is a great catch!!
  5. I waited to reply so I could properly read and enjoy your report. Amazing trip! Family, kids, fish, good weather...you can't ask for much more. Way to go guys/girls!
  6. The Pic and the little Pic are very murky, but if you can find the spots, they hold big walleye...I caught a good 7-8lber a few years ago, but nothing since (in 5 or 6 tries). I can't help you with the inland lakes, but Mink creek has some very nice water falls on the south side of the hwy...it might be worth a visit.
  7. The Ottawa is a fine mistress. Nice tally, but you would have been better off with 5 tasty walleye.
  8. You got it. Its a beautiful and light canoe... 100 percent kevlar, I don't think you can buy those anymore as the new ones are composite. Good eye.
  9. Haha. The cutest I could find.
  10. Like a Rock Grouper? that would be great!
  11. Good, but not great. Perch is much better.
  12. Cheers!
  13. or a new WR at 19.5 hahaha I'd estimate around 3.5lbs, maybe 4.
  14. Trolling for specks and got this bruiser. what do you guys think? 9 or 12 pounds? I'm 9'2" 400 lbs of pure muscle. As William Wallace would say ..."fireballs from his eyes and lightening bolts from his arse".
  15. The ultimate sport-fish! Last time I kept 5 rockies for food, they stunk up my whole appartment....
  16. Awesome numbers! You make it sound easy...cheers
  17. My gf is in the same line of work, she works for CL as well... she brings them fishing to the waterfront, I set up their gear, and they have a blast. I hope you have a fun but safe camping trip Randy. If what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, then you must be one hell of a weight lifter. haha
  18. wow, great stories everyone! Mine is a numbers day. In northern Alberta, me and a pal took off work and fished with home-made lures. Over a dozen Pike over 15lbs and uncountable walleye. The bar was set! Biggest pike I've ever seen!
  19. It could make for a good photo-shoot, if you can catch one. I don't know the first thing about catching Aurora's but I imagine they are similar to brook trout in behavior. Their history makes for a good read, they have only been found naturally in two Ontario lakes. http://www.auroratrout.com/locating-aurora-trout.html
  20. ahhhhh very jealous here. I'll be sending you a pm the minute I get a yard and a garden.
  21. x2 you guys definitely know how to catch big walleye. That 32"er is one heck of a solid fish.
  22. We haven't decide exactly where we are staying yet at LSPP. I've never been, so I have much to consider haha.
  23. Sounds to me like your making up for the last ten years quite nicely! That action shot definitely says "I've got a big one on!" Very cool of your wife to support your passion... it shows she loves spending time with you.
  24. Danny Bhoy stand up http://www.youtube.c...h?v=EeyjbqDCIeg
  25. Looks like everyone involved had a great time! A cottage on the water is a blessing during a heat wave...especially with kids.
