  1. Great stuff. Thanks Slowpoke! And congrats team 1
  2. I was on 4" of black last Saturday... But then the rain dropped, so I stayed away. I'm in kirkland at the moment... The lakes are looking better up here. I'm guessing Bartlett will have some recovery work this year... A lot of anxious ice travellers in North Bay. Be safe.
  3. There's no fish up north... STAY AWAY! Problem solved TJ.
  4. two nights like this, with no snow and I'll be fishing on some small lakes.
  5. If u see any more cleanup crews or insurance adjusters at the house, tell them to clean up your driveway at the same time ask for the policy number and state that you have "third party" damages. Get the claim number and insurance provider info and harass them and also tell your own insurance about it. If you wait too long, you'll have to rely on Dan's extremely handy tips on brooms and how to rub people the wrong way.
  6. That's a nice looking couple in the first pic... the fish of course.
  7. "she saves me" like in "Sheesh, save me"? I'm looking forward to our days ahead, I wouldn't have it any other way. Whatever it takes for this girl to be happy.
  8. Hahaha. She used to work for a jeweler, she knows exactly what she wants. Saves me the guess work.
  9. You are backwards, that's exactly why I got a gf....the bills were pilling up.
  10. No need to travel, there must be a d.d. in your local area.
  11. If I didn't have a GF, I could have afforded a ring months ago.
  12. Very nice. But where the heck is that ice coming from?
  13. She's dropping hints and seems to enjoy embarassing me in from of friends by saying "I don't see a ring, yet". We bought each other a TV for Christmas, to replace our 15", 20 year old model, if that's not commitment, then what is? Honestly I'm just waiting until we have more money between the two of us, why the heck would be get married under stressful conditions?
  14. Well worth skipping work in my opinion... Not that I ever do that, nearly once a week or more. (Whistling)
  15. Jets/Wild was a great game indeed! Things are looking better in the 'Peg
  16. No kidding, I don't think he was planning on making caviar.
  17. Hula Popper Nip: You'll need at least a 32" hole to ice a cougar.
  18. Hey Dana, I liked you, so I decided to let u live. ------------------- My best year was 2008. I lived in Fort Mcmurray and had access to the Athabasca River, Lake Ath. and other smaller pike/walleye lakes. I caught 3 pike over 20lbs and one that must have been close to 30. During one trip we caught over 60 walleye and 20 pike over 10lbs from a lake near town. We laughed and cheered the entire day! It felt like a fly in trip but all it cost us was gas money and frozen minnows. Great thread Leechman!
  19. Haha. That guy makes me laugh every game. To Leafs fans: don't worry, Bell and Rogers will save you.
  20. I'm pretty sure this is the claim. North West of Marten River. This seems more like an unorganized and ignorant Government move rather than a back door deal. The (unlikely) gold mine shouldn't be of major concern, but opening the land to forestry (general use) can dramatically change the face of this area. Notice the Wolf Lake claim number is quite a bit lower (older) than the other ones....
  21. http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/caon0484 Jan 1st is NOT looking good
