I fully realize the low pay thing, but if its that bad even after say 6+ yrs then that kinda poops on my parade. Hmmmmmm gives me something to research and think about more. I just figured its a trade and the pay would be decent. I will have a look at Durham College Cliff thanks for the heads up on that. Thanks Bernie for the reply. You guys have a good Christmas.

I realize I'm not a huge poster on here I prefer to read alot of the threads. Bringing up an old topic, and would like some insight please. I'm seriously debating a new carrer choice. I've been thinking about what I might enjoy. I adore working on cars and fixing things and marine mechanic dose seem interesting. The courses seem to be far and few between though. Found "Craigs" link the other day, UTI in the States, and a place in Edmonton. Craig have you been thru the program up there in Barrie at Georgian? Has anyone else fro that matter? Any marine mechanics out there with any insight in the trade? Is it more seasonal work or do you stay busy year round, and if so is it repairing other types of equipment? I've been doing the same thing now for 13 years and am dying to try something completly new. Any one? Thanks Greg.

I install furnaces and I've never met an inspector with a gas license or one that was held accountable for furnace mess ups. Good luck to her, she'll make it thru.

Hello everyone, been a while since I posted, havent been out fishing alot latley, but manage to troll the board from time to time. I've been trying to figure out if the older 5hp nissan motors have the gas tank built into the motor themselves? When I check websites all I can find is new motors, and it seems 4hp max have the gas can, but what I want is to find if the older circa 1995 come with the gas tank. Anyone ever have one? do they exist? know of any for sale? I'd like to throw one on the back of my porta-bote for them back lakes. Thanks Greg Sheppard.

Hey guys I like to read alot of your posts, but rarely will post. After reading some senarioes about this safari place it just dose sound pretty bad. Anynoe looking to do a ice bungalow weekend otta give Mark and Shelly a call at Anglers Haven. I organized a weekend last year for 6 of us and everyone had one of the best times of there lives. Except for myself the rest havent been ice fishing before. They've got a fellow by the name of Skunk who was just a all around great guy to chew the fat with and he provided top notch service. Minnows, ran out-no problem, piss buckets full-no problem, genny out of gas-no problem (ran out of gas in the genny, he was out there in 5 minuts with a top up, thumbs up) The cabins were clean and very warm. I cant say enough nice things about these people who provided us with a great experience. So great we rebooked with them this year again. If anyone is trying to find an outfitter look no further, tightlines Greg.

Quick connect at home depot costs 20 bux. If you end up getting a new natural gas bbq it will come with a new one. I really wouldnt bother trying to drill the orfices. PM me if you end up getting one. Hope this helps.

I've had mine for a few years now and dont notice a smell, but it stays in the garage all the time. One thing with bags I have noticed is if you plan on doing alot of walking they are killer on the shoulder. I'm forever having to switch arms. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks to all who replied to my dead or alive post last week. Tried out all your guys rigging techniques for minnows and they all out lived my way (hook through the roof of the mouth, out the skull ) Down through the nostril, out the mouth seemed to work the best. Tried foward and behind the dorsal, but I must have been hitting the spine? they didnt seem to swim for as long. Anways I'll end this now and once again I must say thanks alot for the tips. Greg.
