We beat on Honda 2000's at work and I'm shocked the abuse these little guys can take. I've driven 300km in the rain with them and at the end one pull and they start as if they were dry. If I were to buy one that was small, portable, and light it'd be a Honda 2000. As for the A/C thing thats something your gonna have to look into. Not so sure if they can handle that draw or not.

Nice truck man, almost traded my Frontier in last year for the same one. If you can swing it try KIJIJI for a cap. I sleep in mine out in the bush and its the cats meow, especially in a lightning storm when it lights up the surounding lake and trees at night.

One good turn deserves another. Went back today after a quicky job in Oshawa. Picked up my buddy a slip float after he seen how neat they are. Thanks again Gagnon's. Blizzard: no pics...i know i know. Left the camera phone on shore. I was to affraid of droping it in the drink. Next time hopefully.

When I was a wee one Dad use to take us to Jakes Blue Roof Cotages. I havent been there in probably 4-5 years, but they had a beach, fishing, and The town of Campbellford right their. Maybe someone can confirm if the choclate factory is still there and theres also a Provincial park of some sort near by as well. We always had great service.....hmmm reminds me I should book.

Spray on sun block. Its the cats meow!

Just giving some credit where I think credit is due. All to often we hear about the crappy service and hardly about the great service others receive. Last Thursday or maybe Wedenday I got a chance to head over to Gagnons in Oshawa for the first time. Now, I;ve driven past this place a hundred times and always looked at it, but never went in. As I entered the lady behind the counter introduces the store and I proceed to tell her I've never poped on in yada yada yada. Great first impression as she says go on and have a look around. I grab my usual bag of black mr. twisters and a few other items. Trout season was this coming Saturday and Ive got zero experience with river fishing. I proceed to ask a fella that was putting items away on the shelf could you help me with a trout set up and he took the time to set me up with my first slip float and roe setup. Well Im glad I asked cause I caught my first rainbow in about 20 years. Just wana give props to the staff at Gagnons in Oshawa. They helped me out and at no time did they make me feel like I was bothering them with probably the simplest of questions I was asking. Hats off to them. Greg, aka Pidge.

I figured as much KickinFrog, but wasnt sure. Makes sense if cork is getting pricey I guess. As for the sensitivity..I dont know what a $400 rod feels like compared to a $70 combo, but Im sure there are reasons for the hefty price tag. When I deal with the light biters I leave my bail open with my finger on the line for feeling the fish light nibble, close the bail and WHAM!. lol. But thanks again for your input and insight.

Jeeze man some really nice ones you got there thanks for sharing.

As I sit here listening to the Leafs/Sens I'm playin with my newly purchased rod from BassPro last weekend and wonder what's the idea of the split grip on the cork handle? All my other rods have the cork all the way to the butt end, but this rods got the cork near the reel, space, then a Little cork knob at the button end. What's everyone's take on this design? Just wondering.

SirWhite I think I'll just keep it sealed in the box and hang onto it. I honestly have enough blue, perch, pink and many other colours to play with. I thought when I filled out the contest it said limited number so ill just hold onto it and maybe sell it to Chum Lee in thirty years lol.

Nice summary Brad well done. Beauty walleye in that one pic. And congrats on the pb bass.
