Hey, Welcome to OFC . Sorry I can't help you with the Kingston area but this is a largely populated board with many sincere (except Mercman ) members who get together all the time. I have met and arranged fishing dates with a number of members on the board. I am in the GTA but there's gotta be some 'good guys' out your way for sure. Maybe think about joining the tournament teams here on OFC and pm/kindly ask the tournament monitor (SlowPoke) if he could place you on a team with a member out your way?? I gotta say, I like this show better than the sportsmen show. It's pretty much dedicated to fishing, free parking, all the vendors I care to see and good location. Left the house @ 8:45 & home by 12:45. I just picked up some odds & ends; line, terminal tackle & lowrance structure scan. I met Maureen from 'Off the Dock' and picked up a pink onesie For granddaughter Leah. It was nice to get out and start thinking about spring.Back to the hard water tomorrow.

Dann, I probably just missed you guys. My son in law and I left the show at 11:15. Would of been nice to meet miss Kelly and see Daniel decked out in his uniform.

I just checked my iTunes store receipt from Jan. 7/11. $29.99 + HST = 33.89. I know that the price is different/lower for both the iPhone & iPod.

Whatever mounting device/method you choose, I would highly recommend that you consider a comfortable/ergonomic height. When you are bending over & reaching numerous times throughout the day setting/operating your riggers, a sore/bad back can put a dent in your day pretty quickly . I added the platform last year. Nope, not me. This year I have 'rediscovered' the joys of winter & ice fishing, thanks to a number of members here (you guys know who you are ). Mrs. Pikeslayer is pretty much resigned to accept that fishing is now officially a 9/10 month season.
