  2. Fisherman our thoughts and prayers are with you. There is a lot of love in your family. The love that your mom instilled in you will continue to grow in you and it will be shared through you to others. Your in our morning prayers.
  3. STOTY, sorry to hear of your loss. She was obviously a special friend as well as a terrific mother. She will always be in your heart. These qualities that you admired have been passed onto you which will be expressed through you to your friends, a wife and your children. Our prayers are with you today.
  4. Hey Drifter, I have been trying to PM you but cannot get through. Can you send me an email so we can get together. Thanks and nice videos.
  5. Thanks everyone for your response. A lot of great advice. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I was out of town re family illness.
  6. Damn wind on Simcoe has shut us out for 2 fishing days. What anchor works best. We have an old Glastron with a 90 on the back.Had it for years. I put out a 20 lb. anchor and throw a second 10 lb. out. Still won't hold on a windy day. Light breeze is ok. They are your typical can. tire type anchors. Do the larger aluminum type hold better. We let tons of rope out. Any ideas appreciated. I am with Randy re the wind. Maybe we can try again tomorrow. Tight lines.
  7. Pretty soon your son will be steering the boat and you will be sitting at the front. Nice video. Looks like he will have his own charter business.
  8. To a fellow Taurus, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU < HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU<HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR JOEY<HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU .
  9. I agree. Get marine vinyl no slip. Try talking to an upholster who works with boats. I put in carpet 5 years ago. Stands up great but you end up doing a lot of shampooing after a couple of fishing trips.
  10. Irishfield, nice pics of your mom. Glad to see you had some great times together. She gave to you and you gave back. The world needs more of that. Cheers and great memories.
  11. JOEFISH, sorry to hear about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. 7 years ago we lost our daughter suddenly and as previously posted this morning mothers and fathers day are still a little hard to deal with. But u always seem to find some love in your heart to share with others in need. If u ever need to talk feel free to pm me. God Bless thru these challenging times.
  12. Happy Mothers Day to all the women out there on the OFC. Mothers Day and Fathers Day are still a bit challenging for us, But I really have to apologize for the weather. You see our was ONLY to dump snow at our place, not over the whole fricken province, sorry guys I guess she was spreading to much of a good thing. Cheers and truly a Happy Mothers Day to all. My son and I have to go and attempt not to burn breakfast for Mom. Cheers and tight lines.
  13. Mine is May the 17th, just a few days after yours, this is the month where all good fishers are born. Let me be one of the first to wish you all the best and tight lines on your special day . Happy Birthday Joey.
  14. I agree Big Cliff, the fish will be bigger next weekend. If u beak down or run into a problem your pretty much on your own today. A few years ago a buddy of ours went up to Muskoka, late November and did not get all the water out of the lower end before trailoring home, did not wrap up the lowere end either, wind chill took care of the lower end. Expensive trip.
  15. We are just starting to get some blowing snow near Barrie. Joey, my birthday is coming up in another week, the wish came true today, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. To know me is to love me.!.!
  16. Randy I am so jealous, I am so jealous, as well as to you TJ. For mothers day my 15 yr. old son and I are going to take :rofl2:my wife up to North Bay for lunch 2morrow. There is nothing better than fishing in the boat in a snow storm. BRING IT ON.
  17. I LIKE TERRY'S TIP ALSO, maybe I shouls bring my mother in law fishing after all.............. .......naww what was I thinking, I would not last 5 minutes.
  18. Eat a mean ceaser salad with lots of garlic before you go fishing, then breath on them when u bring one into the boat, they should drop and be going for a long But on a more helpful note, we have tried bonking and cutting. What seems to work well is to bring out the bonker and then cut. I agree with Dutchy, It still seems to drain well and for sure there is a big difference in the flavor.
  19. Done, done done, fabulous video, we watch the ice roads all the time, But like your version a whole lot more. send me a contact number, so we can get in touch with you. Cheers.
  20. You live in a piece of paradise. Awesome pics. Hope u have a spare room. We are coming up that way soon. We do not snore.........very much, cheers.

  22. Glad to see you had a great day Stoty. Nice pics. Bashing goes no where. YES if Italo has done something less than above board HE has to be accountable for his actions, as we all do. My son was happy to see the pics. We see enough bashing in politics on tv. That's why we spend more time on this site. To relax, learn and and share information with friends.
  23. For all of the above reasons. http://www.speedextreme.com/temp/jan/johnson.wmv
  24. Crappieperchhunter and Harrison; I guess crappies then can be good or , not so good depending if they come out of the water or are in a bucket. Your comment re diapers brought back memories of when my wife went on a 1 month binge to save the earth and use real cloth diapers. . I washed them once and thought they would have to carry me out on a . Thankfully save the earth mode only lasted 2 weeks. , which gave us more time to . Honest truth I used to be on my knees when our son was trying to form words. I had a plastic boat that he use to use in the bath, and the first word we got him to say was boat, long before mom or dad. You can never start them to young. Cheers everyone, have an awesome weekend.
