Ok...with your input ecmilley i am swaying towards getting the big beast again. The reason i am interested in these is because 2 seasons ago we got our quad stuck on the melting snowmachine trail to a lake and a wide track bearcat pulled us out with the quad sitting inside the sleigh....i was impressed. -

Thanks man, actually the other sleds I am considering are the tundra or skandics. Cold starts seem to be a recurring issue in reviews and forum discussions about the Bearcats. -

Thanks for the input. Exactly my thoughts on the getting stuck. I have the funds for either model. I am going back to the dealership today to have another look. -
Just looking for input....thinking about it....maybe too heavy? I am just so torn at the moment. We only have 2 dealers here in Dryden.....one i refuse to do anymore business with (the $%$#@# really ripped me off once after i spent $12000) and the other one is Artic Cat. I am leaning towards the latter because of warranty work if it needs doing its local.

Yup life is good Rick. Your shore fishing should be going insane right about now eh? GRAFFITI!!!!! This is locals doing this...i even have an idea who but i dont know last names or where they live....but they will be challenged next time if i see them there...F$#@#ing BRING IT is what i say, these idiots dont deserve what they have up here...maybe they need to get out for a while...you know ...maybe go further than Ignace....then they might appreciate what they have...but i doubt it....YOU CANT FIX STOOPID.....BUT YOU CAN BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF IT TO MAKE YOURSELF FEEL BETTER! Rant over.....

WOW...indeed a lousy week for you all. But good news she thinks the thing has shrunk. Best wishes and thoughts to you all as always. -
Agreed. At the same time they can charge what they want i guess, which makes me wonder how all the 5 gas stations here in our 'city' keep their prices the same and rise or fall at the same time....price fixing? oh wait...thats illegal and the goverment says it does not happen...i believe it if the government says it.

Great report Joey. My son jack said " I think that lady got a monster fish tangled in seaweed" _

Great way to celebrate thanksgiving!

Ahhhhh poop! Just realised she will notice because she has to use the old key fob to open and close it
-
Thanks Topwater! That's the exact model I had in mind! Will do as you suggest and watch the flyer for the deal!

GOOD NEWS Thanks for the info. Its a 2004 Grand Am GT auto transmission. Dont think it has an alarm. It sounds the horn when you press the red button on the key fob....but i dont think thats a 'fitted alarm'.

Hi all, Just wanting some info on remote start keyless thingies. My plan is to get this for the wife for xmas. Wanting it to be a surprise, so if i install one of these can the car still be started with the original key so she would be clueless its installed untill i give her the keyless pushbutton thing on Xmas day? Not wanting to spend more than $200 on the unit itself....realise the cost of installing (+ extra relays ) will be more, but anyone recommend a brand/unit in that range? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the replies lads and ladettes! My pleasure! I'm not a hunter either (yet)so that, that was the first time I've seen that too! Thanks man, she got a casual position yesterday and heard from a friend that another employer was checking her references already after yesterday's interview . -
Hi All, Aint been out nearly as much as usual this past month....wife lost her job, got recalled...interviews, lost our full-time sitter.....windows and doors to fix...etc....etc...etc. Finally got some days in this week. FIRST EVENING JACK AND ME WENT SHORE FISHING UP THE ROAD WHILE MUM WAS DOING NIGHT SHIFT WE GOT 2 SMALLER ONES AND HAD A NICE SUPPER TOGETHER, HE IS A GREAT HELPER AND LOVES GUTTING THE FISH. NEXT EVENING MUM WAS WORKING AGAIN SO WE TRIED FROM SHORE IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE DID NOT CATCH A THING.....BUT IT WAS GREAT FUN ANYWAY. WE WATCHED THE SUN GO DOWN TOGETHER AND ROASTED SOME MARSHMALLOWS TO EASE THE SKUNKY FEELING A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER MY BUDDY AND ME HEADED OUT FOR WALLEYE, PICKED OFF A FEW BIRDS ON THE WAY IN. WAS A BEAUTIFUL FALL DAY, COMPLETE WITH BLUSTERY WINDS AND SHOWERS, BUT MAINLY SUNNY. THE FISH WERE DEFINITELY HUNGRY......BUT SMALL BUT WE GOT SOME NICE KEEPER SIZE AND A COUPLE OF 25"ERS+ NEXT AFTERNOON WHILE MUM AND JACK NAPPED I SNUCK OUT LOCALLY TO SEE IF THE TROUT WERE PLAYING......THEY WERE. ALSO MANAGED 2 30"ER WALLEYE WATCHED ANOTHER AWESOME SUNSET AS I STRAPPED THE BOAT TO THE TRAILER ON THE WAY OUT. SOME VIDEO OF THE ADVENTURES <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/YrDIszNcvgo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/JW8IGoGUAo4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Fish all came from 30' - 48' FOW on both days out in the boat on 2 different lakes. Jigs and minnows (mostly 4 - 6" suckers/dace minnows) were the bait and tackle, straight jigging the presentation, good use of electronics helped locate them. 1st day was blustery wind and rain, next day was mostly sunny....wind was average 10kmh both days. Water temps were mid 50s at the surface. tight lines all!
