Hi all, After a long, dreary, wet and windy day nursing the mother of all trapped nerves in my neck i had to get out....Jack had been bugging to leave the house all day too. We headed to a sheltered lake i know for an hour shore fishing and some fresh, albeit cold and wet, air. Nice way to end the day. Still find it difficult to fathom how perogie pizza is good.....lol. As for the fishes....awesome....looked delish! Good luck Mike! I am not even fishing a tourney....i'm heading out for crappie and walleye with my buddy Cliff for an early session and i'm at at 3:30am! Gonna clean the bathroom and sweep/mop whole house and get laundry folded......BROWNIE POINTS...that will increase if i get home with a limit of fishes....if i can do that i should be in 1st Place for today

Hi all, Between night shifts today i decided to go for an hour session to see if the crappie were done their spawn or not. I was thinking i'd missed the spawn already as the fishing had been slow for them so far this year. I was wrong.....temps are now around 60-62F and the crappie are stacked up in the shallows where they normally are. Slip bobbers or micro jigs and minnows worked well( 1/8 ounce jig under the bobber). Took more time to clean them than to catch them!
