Hi all, got out with my buddy Scott ( havtaflyfish on here). managed a couple whitefish and and a nice 21" walleye, Scott got a fair size pike. Not many pics or video as heavy wet snow and wind kept my camera in its case mostle....but i got a Gopro Hero 3 from santa....will be rockin' that little gem soon, gonna do the melmet mount fornew years day! Anyhoo, whitefish and pike went back, Mr. Walter came home with me for a dinner date. WILL BE TRYING THIS OUT SOON GOT A COUPLE WHITEFISH AND A NICE WALLEYE ......SUPPER WAS GOOD TONITE! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/wwcmhd6DQ50" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Fish were all at around 30'FOW. Jig and minnows all the way. Lakers are open day after tomorrow....bring it on!

I like the tourney as is. Yeah...some teams get 'stacked' but its the luck of the draw. I agree with the comment that it engenders the community spirit to have a team format....like they say...if it aint broke.....

Hi all, -30C last night, went to start truck and it would not go. Was plugged in all night. Battery seems fine its just like there is no 'spark' or something.....turn the key and you get the same sound as usual.....it just wont kick in and start. Any ideas?

I'm surprised i like to eat them either....they stink real bad when cleaning.....almost as bad as ling....but both taste good to me. There are whitefish in there....but i have still to work out how to get lots often. LOL...Brian, thats a good one. Poor crazy Roloff. Just jig and minnows...dont really break out much more than that until trout opens....then i unleash the lure arsenal! Thanks J! really sorry to hear your news, thoughts are with you guys. Apparently its really quiet, my buddy said he was watching me go by when i was doing about 80mph....he said you could hardly hear it, but sitting on it it definitely has a throaty roar/rumble....i smile riding this machine. Good on ya, bit cold for the boat, no?

I love mine...on the ice and in the boat. No probs with picking up jigs in 100ft. On the ice make sure you have: 'Ping' and 'Chart' speed at maximum. In 'sonar options' from the menu...make sure 'manual mode' is on (you will see an 'x' in the check box when it is) Also in depths over 35' turn off 'surface clarity' completely, max the sensitivity and use 'X4' zoom option. Also try to always use the 'set upper and lower depth range feature' to your actual depth, this helps to get the max definition on screen. Always use split screen....dont wanna miss that laker cruising at 20' in 80' FOW! If you do get one you wont be disappointed. Got out later than i thought today....only had an hour as my trip to town turned into a bit of a farce(whole other story i wont go into ). jack felt the pressure too....for the first time ever he fell asleep all by himself....lol....with his lunch in his lap. With the lad and mum tucked up for an afternoon nap, I headed out. Lots showing on the bottom and suspended...but only one suspended pike wanted to eat today. Got back and dog was going nuts barking to go for a run...he likes chasing the snowmachine! KID WAS TOAST....TIME TO SNEAK OUT REALLY NICE RIDE IN ARRIVED WITH LESS THAN AN HOUR DAYLIGHT LEFT DOG WAS TOAST TOO AFTER CHASING ME DOWN FUN COUPLE OF HOURS <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/BMvLVfwEGyk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Hopefully i will get into some fish soon, but not really that worried....just enjoying getting out. I heard ya about learning how to adjust the articulating suspension...seems a bit fiddly...but after today it felt set up pretty good as is....no pushing in cornering....pretty much turn on a dime....such a huge difference from my skegless old XLT!
