  1. I'll be attending, but won't be fishing the derby... i've never pulled a crappie out of there that was worth bragging about... we killed them last year the same day as the derby but again, nothing of any size Here's a Shot...
  2. Fished Binbrook on Sunday slow to say the least... iced 6 fish between the 2 of us it was cold and windy, glad we had the cube
  3. renewed my 3 year licence & outdoors card online a week ago... ready to go Jan 1 - Can't Wait

  9. He says it runs, don't mean crap... lots of motors "ran the last time out" power is never enough...
  10. it's an hour away... make the drive... i've driven further for less
  11. HEre's hoping to a speedy recovery Chris all the best
  12. i've fished next to humminbird 787 and have cause very noticable interference on their screen it's 4000W compared to my marcums 2000W
  13. It's better for me... i like it more... i've taken my lcd sonar/flasher and i wasn't too impressed... 3 colors as opposed to way more.... interference/screen clutter... I can screw up the screen on an lcd sonar/flasher with my marcum... by fishing to close... i don't have that issue with my marcum... it's personal preference again... like i said, if i wanted year round use, i'd by an lcd sonar for ice fishing, i'll stick with my flasher...
  14. if i wanted something for all year round i'd get an lcd if i wanted something just for ice fishing, i'd get a flasher...
  15. awesome!!! great job
  16. Motor needs to warm up... once it's warmed up it'll start and run like a champ... run seafoam through it also, it won't hurt it...
  17. I got 1 last year... i got the cabelas one... great deal on the panning camera on the US site... $130 i believe... Would i get one again... NO to much of a hassle, big/heavy need to properly orient it, cable is always in the way... cable/camera shows up on flasher... again, if i had to do it over, i wouldn't buy one...
  18. don't know how good a centerpin would be after it would fall off the roof of a truck??
  19. I got a Marcum LX5 this will be my 4th year with it... every flasher will help you catch more fish... look at it this way, spend a little more, cause you'll have it for years to come... no sense in upgrading a few years down the road...
  20. I've had them for 4 years... great, just wish they waterproof all the way up...
  21. My condolences to the family... I've fished with Sonny a bunch of times, and he may have been small, but had the heart of a Giant You will be missed RIP my friend
  22. wait till he finds out where lake X is... oh man!!!
  23. I bought a new trolling motor. Minn Kota All Terrain - Cable Steer, Scissor Mount I had an older unit mounted to the bow, but upgraded the thrust/voltage Issue I had with the previous motor i mounted was i had to Orient the motor head/prop the right way so it wouldn't hit my rail... looking at it, unless i let it overhand the edge, i'll be having the same problem with this unit... Both units old and new were/are Minn Kota All terrains I'd rather be able to just pull the cord up and not worry which way the motor is oriented... any ideas?
  24. Thanks Guys
