  1. After fishing this summer I have no confidence in my tackle bag.
  2. Look at the goatee on that sucker..
  3. Walmart carries all kinds of licenced kids clothes. Go check it out, I would think they still carry WWF/WWE stuff.
  4. Hwy. 17 cuts North Bay in half. I am below it so I live in Southern ontario?
  5. 11 walleye? I guess I missed out. Any slot size or all under?
  6. Check out this post from last year. http://ontariofishingcommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47513&st=0&p=508997&hl=wickstead&fromsearch=1&&do=findComment&comment=508997 Here is the wikipedia link from that post. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_walleye
  7. Looking good.....I mean the pike lol.
  8. Very good report Mike. Thanks for taking the time to put it together.
  9. Chris, I find myself in the same boat as you. I have two boys 8 and 2 and a wife that doesn't enjoy fishing, or drinking. My problem is I really enjoy both! When we had Alex I took about 2 years off from serious fishing. Still fished a bit, but focused on the family. Then for about 4 years I got back into it. Got a boat, sled, ice hut, 4 wheeler, etc. Now we have our second son Karter, and she feels I have not given the necessary time to my family. She is constantly on me about fishing and the time I spend on-line, or talking fishing. To solve the problem, I have learned to ask her for permission first before arranging fishing trips (Rod Caster will agree to this). If she is o.k. with it then I can go. If not, I stay home. She does not feel bad about saying no as I ask her and she answers. Simple. She is not being mean or unreasonable. I have a responsibility to her and my boys that comes before fishing. Now if I can figure out the social drinking piece, we'll be good. Family First.....Fishing Seccond All the best. Fish will still be there in 5 years.
  10. Ya blarg, we are not that North. It is a great place to live and very central to the rest of Ontario.
  11. Great report. Fishing kids is always special.
  12. Thanks R. C. I'll take "mayor of Tip-up Town" for the ice hut village but let's keep this thread from getting political. Seriously, I've lived in Kirkland Lake, Toronto, Vancouver, and North Bay and hope to never leave. After Randy shows me where all the "falleyes" are I may consider Sturgeon Falls. LMAO.
  13. Sorry to hear Bigbuck. Just lost my Grandpa in August at the age of 97.
  14. By the way Terry that is Kirkland Lake they say that about. At least Allan Thicke did.
  15. Really depends on what kind of work you expect to get. Great city close to 1000s of lakes and lots of out door recreation. However, you can't do much with out some cash. Feel free to PM me with any specific questions.
  16. R.C. You could use a dipsy. I have 2 in the garage you could try.
  17. Sad to lose Belak. He was a funny guy and a decent enforcer. You would think the NHLPA would do more to lok after these guys?
  18. Yep that one is good too.
  19. If it is brand new then it may loosen up a bit with use. Generally when using a boat I never have to turn the wheel more then a 1/4 turn. No real need to crank it all around unless you are docking it.
  20. That there is a Speckled Catfish. Also known as a Poka-dot-Barbut.
  21. I drove the U.S. Route about 15 years ago and will never forget the trip through Montana. No posted speed limit!!!!! There is a sign that tells drivers to consider the 5 rules of driving. 1. Weather conditions 2. Road Conditions 3. Traffic Conditions 4. Vehicle condition (Safety) 5. Driver fatigue It was mid afternoon on a crazy hot day and we had no air conditioning in my 1988 Chevy Beretta. We had the windows open and stripped down to our under clothes. The digital speddometer was maxed out at 188 kms. and we were getting passed. Was a great ride. No there are no pictures.
  22. If your timing is good (weather, wind, etc.) they will be hungry and you will cathch them. Pick up worms minnows and leeches if you can find them.
  23. Oryx, He pulls off the old, melted, disintigrated motor with the busted magnet and puts on a replacement from a 50hp Force ( I have a 90 hp Merc). Bolts right on. Be carefull not to burn out the pump on the replacement trim unit. Your 90 is allot heavier then the 50.
  24. Great fish Aaron and great screen shots from the HDS5. So that is what it looks like when you mark allot of fish. I wouldn`t know yet as I stick mostly on Nipissing lol. I like the Stir It Up`` shot better then the king porn.
