  1. With fishing that good, I'd take him up on it Terry!!!! What's a few bugs in the teeth? LOL!!
  2. Dug out this post again. I spoke with Jocelyn at my local tackle shop...he only has the 4 1/2" Nils in stock. Fine for perch, smaller fish...no way on Quinte or Simcoe. He also says that Nils can be a PITA to deal with so wasn't too interested in ordering more. Anywhere else that might have them??? If not I might just grab the Finn Bore..."Doc Sal" and a few others recommended it. Still a few months to go, but, time is flying!!
  3. Some awesome "fishies"!!!! Got to love the YUM. My better half (Juli) has made me a believer in that stuff. Kicks Gulp's butt, everytime we go out...in fact on Long Pt...she came up with a Yum pattern that caught perch almost as well as real minnows. I swear the Gulp minnow actually repelled the perch!!!
  4. Nice Wayne!! Looking forward to hearing the story from Lloyd on Sunday. He was just a LITTLE EXCITED when he got back and updated his status, LOL!!!
  5. Possibly perch on Saturday, the "eyes have it" on Sunday, perch and pike on Monday. Fishing, fishing, and more fishing...now there is something to be THANKFUL for!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Have fun Nestor!! We'll try and leave a few in there for you
  7. IT'S ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. When out at Long Point usually 9" minimum for me. Smaller lakes, I'd say 8" and up.
  9. Any updates? Haven't heard the full details, but, almost sounds like a grandfather, father and son fishing together...by the age discrepancies.
  10. Hear about, nah....you might see it though
  11. Vinnie knows we're just teasing him!! He's the kind of guy who will do anything he can for you, and, ask nothing in return.
  12. Beauty brownie!!!!! Love when they get those colours, but, aren't getting that "grotesque" look that some of the males get.
  13. Great post!! Some day, I'm going to have to head up that way for a couple of days. I've been up a few times, but, never got to stop and fish Get the odd Coho down here on my favorite pier, but, I'd love to fish for those coaster brookies in season!!
  14. Holy cow...make that sow!!!! That is one "beauty" perch!!
  15. Some great close-up shots, Joey!!! Too bad you didn't hit any muskies, but, a great day on the water is what it is all about.
  16. The scary thing is they just need one or two people to actually reply and provide the info.
  17. Welcome back John. Hope all heals well, and, you are fishing before you know it.
  18. So are we going to see this price reduction throughout Ontario, make that Canada???? I definitely NEED, want...no NEED a few ice fishing reels!
  19. Congrats Like you said the $20 launch fee, I'm sure, pales compared to "launching" her off
  20. Some really nice "early" chrome!! Since I got the boat, just can't bring myself to fish the rivers at this time of year. Another month or so, though and I'll "dust" off the gear
  21. Old Cut isn't too much further and yes is only $10...Inner Bay Marina is $15. Both under $20, yeah, $20 is outrageous for a launch fee, but, as stated earlier perch is pretty darn expensive in the grocery store as well. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet, life is too short.
