Hmmm...I'd continue to use the 06 regs for planning. Knowing the speed of the govt, we'll be using them all year anyways.

Wow!!! Municipal governments can be just plain silly sometimes. I'll be looking to the city website to find out some email addresses for sure...if they get away with it, then before long, many places to fish will be closed off...and it may take years for the province to clean it all up.

I think you did the right thing if you were not entirely sure how to do the job yourself. I would have done the same!!

LOL...if I knew where it was going to be, I couldn't tell you anyways. Thankfully I dont know the location....LOL. I think we are doing this every Monday in the month of Feb...not 100% sure though.

Awesome report and great pike there! The view on that underwater cam was cool too. Sorry to hear about the fish fry on the ice, but at least you got a few nice meals at home to look forward to! Where were you fishing if you dont mind me asking....not asking for exact location, but GPS coordinates would be great....LOL. I was just wondering what lake...hehe.

Yeh...I work for Canadian Tire head office...every Monday this month we've chosen one station in the GTA and take 20 cents off per liter. It's pretty good publicity for us...

Would have loved to have gone yesterday, but our babysitter (oldest daughter) was at a friends birthday party from 2 til 9pm!!! Oh well...maybe next time!

Bly and I were there from about 11am til about 3pm today. Here's a list of what we came home with.... - OFAH Family Membership (mocked up magazine cover of us holiding a walleye) - 11.5 foot noodle rod (at 40% off) - 2 Baseball hats from Fishing World - A few glass lures from MacKinnon Tackle Inc..makers of the Muskoka Glass Ghost - 2 pairs of polarized sunglasses - some soft bait from "Tightlines" Not too bad....we figure we spent about 160 bucks at the show.

Bly and I are heading to Lakair for the OFC weekend for our first time this year. Should be a blast meeting other members there. We also picked up a bunch of pamphlets at the fishing show today...gotta plan another outing together.

I remember the tall skinny guy...I remember thinking that he may be taller than that blue screen!!! LOL. Were you the guy askin if they had a muskie one? The tall guy had his pic a few minutes later I think. They were actually printing our pic and I think I kept getting in your way....take care Bill!

WOW!! Great report and awesome to hear your son had a memorable catch as well! Cant wait to fish in short sleeve shirts again....Thanks for sharing some of your vacation with us!

Shawn, That's classic about your daughter and the wondering why the fish were not outside...LOL. Yes...saw the LUND as well as all the other boats in there that I cant afford...haha. Sportsmen show...hmm...that could be dangerous...LOL. Talk to you later bud! Cliff

LOL...yes they did!!! They took the pic the first time...we came back an hour later and it was all blurry, so they took another picture. We came back a half hour later to get it and the lady there thought we already picked it up, so she threw it in the garbage....so they had to take a 3rd picture. We were not bothered by it at all...we were laughing about it all. Finally, they told us not to leave...they'd do it right away. They felt so bad they offered us a free subscription to the magazine, but we already have one (and we dont mind cause it came with our OFAH membership and it's a good cause)...so they printed off two pics and gave them to us. Were you there to have your pic too? I saw a few people getting their pics taken. My wife wore her OFC hat so that if there were members of the board there they'd maybe stop us and say hi.
