  1. LOL...I got you mixed up with another OFNer.....jediangler....he's the kayak guy!!
  2. No problem...awesome video! Really give you an idea how fast they are really going!
  3. Great work! Love the pics...the scenery is amazing and the fish have some great colours. Great job out there...especially since you had to use barbless hooks!!!
  4. This will work if you enable HTML in your post....do a full edit and scroll down a bit...just choose anything except HTML Off.
  5. Here's a link on how to release skunks from a cage....pretty much what Maureen said... http://icwdm.org/wildlife/skunk/skunkrelease.asp
  6. Did we mention we like pictures? Video would be even better...be sure to have them handy whatever you decide!
  7. WOW....talk about exciting!!! For a bit there I thought you were in your kayak...LOL.
  8. SWEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!! The carp have disappeared in my neck of the woods....water levels are waaaaay down. Good to see some reports with people doing some catching!
  9. I'd call animal control and hopefully they could deal with it!!
  10. Was talking to a guy the other day about trib fishing. He said he caught 3 in an east end trib recently and released them all. They all swam away, but when he walked down stream, he noticed 2 were floating. He packed up his stuff and left even though he could have likely caught all day long. It's always refreshing to hear this from fellow anglers.
  11. Awesome report and especially the pics! I caught my first topwater largie this past weekend and it was a rush that's for sure. Thanks for posting..makes me want to get back out there this weekend again!
  12. Good luck and have a great time! Looking forward to the pics and report upon your return!
  13. Great report!!!! Nice pictures...oh yeah and the fish pics looked good too
  14. Great report and pics! Too bad the weather didn't cooperate, but at least you got to see the race. Some awesome pics and a great account of your vacation!
  15. LOL...take the camera on the roadtrip guys!!!!
  16. ACK!!! How did I miss this report??? First, let me say, when you go on a trip like this, at least put a little effort into the report....geez!!! LOL Wow...what an amazing account of your trip! The effort you put into everything from the prep, the scouting of locations and your perseverence through weather and lack of sleep certainly pays off with your results! Some awesome pictures and good on you letting the little guy reel a carp in. Great pictures to go with the report as well! I haven't gone out targeting carp in a while, but once they come back in, I'll give it another try. Thanks for the effort of this report....it was AMAZING!
  17. When fishing in the winter from shore (Tribs or piers) or on hardwater, pick up a set of these to put on your boots to help with traction on icy surfaces....
  18. Brian...GREAT synopsis of your few days on the water. It sounded pretty exciting to me! I love reading your reports...they give out TONS of information for guys like me who know very little about bass fishing, although I am learning. Between your posts, and others on the board, as well as a few OFNers who have taken me out bass fishing (basskicker and fishnsled), I've learned lots this year. Who knows, maybe one of these days I'll enter one of those tournaments.
  19. Was the walleye in the slot?? haha. Great story and picture! So when you weigh that one, is it one fish or two? Thanks for posting!
  20. Good luck Joey! As you know, I have NO useful knowledge when it comes to any lake that is north of Lake Ontario and anywhere more than about a 100 yards off the shore of Lake Ontario....LOL. You'll get into some fish I'm sure!
  21. Good luck out there! Take lots of pics...looking forward to the report.
  22. LOL...touche!
  23. LOL...great pics...good thing Victor wasn't there, or he'd try to kiss the thing.....haha.
  24. Great report....especially the pics. Thanks for all the details there...it's great to learn about a fish I'm not familiar with. Glad to hear the move is over and you are settling in...looking forward to more reports like this one!
  25. WOW!!! Congratulations on all the muskie and especially your FIRST one! You two have been working hard all summer long it seems and you finally hit paydirt. I'm still hoping (but not expecting) for my first one this year...LOL. Good on you for not giving up and trying new things...it's too easy to fall into that comfy trap of complacency.
