  1. Great report and pics! It's always great to see the kids catching in reports. Their smiles are just priceless and the more you take them out, the more they'll love it. You'll have a fishing partner for life!
  2. Always always take the gear...if you dont get out then no problem. If you get there and find out that you can fish there and that the action has been good, then you'll regret it! Have fun on your trip!
  3. Hmm....lemme see....here's my list Largemouth Bass Smallmouth Bass White Bass Rock Bass Walleye Muskie* Salmon* Steelhead Trout Sucker Bullhead Northern Pike Carp Perch Bluegill Sunfish Pumpkinseed Goby Sheepshead Crappie Brown Trout* I'm sure I'm forgetting a few, but I cant think of any more right now. Hoping to get some bigger fish now that fall is just around the corner. The muskie, salmon and brown trout that I have caugh have been on the small side, so I'd love to try to get some bigger ones.
  4. I dont think I'll try these waters in my canoe. Check out these guys as they hang on for dear life....especially the guy at the front after they get the boat started again! <BR> <embed src="http://www.liveleak.com/player.swf" width="320" height="240" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" flashvars="autostart=false&token=102_1188277424" scale="showall" name="index"></embed>
  5. Dan....awesome picture as usual! You scared the bejeezus out of me with that last pic...I thought the snow was coming...LOL We had a neighbour with a siberian husky who had the exact same thing happen...after a trip to the vet she was as good as new. Hope the removal went smoothly!!
  6. Nice going Joey! Very nice steelie you got there! Nice pictures as usual...the sunset was awesome and that shack was pretty cool looking as well. Out-fished Paul again did you?? LOL.
  7. Wow...great looking fish! Congrats on your new PB. The pics look awesome...the water was like glass!
  8. Wow...the pics were incredible...hard to imagine how much better it was up close and personal. Looked like an awesome trip Jason...a real deserved break from work! Glad to see you did get some fishing in (your BOQ report). Talk to you soon....we gotta fish for more bass again soon...LOL.
  9. Hey Jason! Good to hear from you again. Looks like you've had a great vacation there! Nice BOQ bass you have there. You should see the canoe now...you wouldn't recognize it with the outrigger and trolling motor....LOL. Oh yeah...we've been trying fishing for some bass in the canoe and I realized that I need to buy some of your home made senkos!!! Talk to you later, Cliff
  10. Nice job out there Glen...always nice when you can get out and fish! Bly is picking up our oldest from Michigan this weekend, so we'll be able to take the canoe out more often, now that our babysitter is back at home...LOL. Nice fish and pics...oh yeah...it'll still be nice and warm here in November...hoping to make it to BOQ this year...just have to beg for a few spots in a boat, since I'm not keen on taking the canoe out there...haha.
  11. Looking back at a log we keep of our big walleye, it's split about 50/50 when it comes to east/west direction. It always seemed to have a north west or north east direction. Only one fish ever came with a southerly wind direction. Strange, considering you'd think a south wind would bring in more bait fish....we fish the north shore of Lake O.
  12. Congrats Mo!! Great looking car and I have heard some great things about Kia recently. Now all you need is a big OFC Community sticker for it!! Oh yeah...that insurance guy...care to share his name? My policy is coming up for renewal....thanks!
  13. Jedi was right....they did find columnaris in carp...but not in ANY Scugog carp. They found it in the lakes that followed. Something isn't right and smells fishy....pun intended.
  14. Wow!! Hope he's not a member on this board....LOL. Great job on the patio set!
  15. I think the Lakair thread wasn't pinned until we were 4 weeks out from the event. The mods may employ the same policy here.
  16. Last time I was up there in the south end, I was told to follow the weed line. Problem was the weedline was also the shoreline....LOL.
  17. Not bad on the recording front...Have another one mixed and ready to shoot a video. It's an Arctic Monkey's tune called "Fake Tales of San Francisco".
  18. Wow!! Great fish! Are you still up here? You gotta go home soon so other's can catch a muskie or two....LOL. Congrats on the great catch!
  19. And I suppose your chiropractor is very happy you jumped off that bridge...LOL. Great story...glad no one was hurt too badly!
  20. Wow...it's amazing you even made it home with all that trailer trouble!!! Even though it must have put a damper on the trip, I can tell by your smiles in the pics that it was still all worth it. Great job out there...you caught more fish on this trip than I have in my LIFE....LOL. Good job guys and great report!
  21. Wow! Fantastic report with lots of great fish and pics! Thanks for sharing.
  22. LOL....15 knots is just under 30 kph winds...I know that a lot when I'm standing on a pier....haha. Seriously...just head down there and take a look...you'll know if it's ok to head out. Take a radio with you...have it tuned to 680 news...you'll get weather updates every 10 minutes. Be safe!
  23. That's pretty cool...the question is.....Can you put a trolling motor on it? hehe
  24. Hard to say about the waters, just be on the watch for thunderstorms. There is a 60% chance tomorrow...can kick up high winds and waves in a matter of minutes. Oh yeah...I hear lightning isn't that much fun either...
  25. Hey Douger! DOH!!! Got your PM earlier...sorry I haven't responded yet! Right now it's tough on this end of the lake...I've been out a few times to some eastern spots and haven't heard of or seen anyone pull one in as of yet. I think it may be timing. We'll hook up there in the next month for sure!
