  1. Snow.. snow and more snow Brian. Plowed well over a foot yesterday afternoon... and we have about 7 inches of new stuff in the yard now that has dropped since noon. Waiting to see if we get any freezing rain as it's easier to leave the snow.. let it rain.. and then plow it. Tomorrow's going to be a mess.. and trying to get to Toronto General Monday am doesn't look like to much fun!
  2. She was in the 140 foot hole, at the Brooms, in that spot...
  3. Well at least your ice will form well over there... we've got over 22 inches, over the last 3 days, here in Penetang.
  4. Laker Jessy used a bait caster.. out in the cold.. -20C and put us ALL to shame one cold and nasty February day.. lol
  5. Come'on Gord... you're not that young! lol.. even I use to play with the tube testing machine at CTC, that was just around the corner from my place as a kid.
  6. Great stuff Nick.. well other than the first part. Guess I can sell those aerial pics of the house to the next guy! lol Looks like a nice smile behind all that tackle as well. Cabelas... most stuff can be had most anywhere else for about 60% of the cost. Like my auger head cover.. $59.99 at Cabelas.. $31.95 just about anywhere else.
  7. YES.. Yes he did and we have video to prove it somewhere!
  8. I've found the best way to bond Polyethylene is to grind it back up into pellets and run it back through the injection moulding machine. Even I have never had any luck doing anything else and I've been in plastics for 29 years. I have been known to repair some things.... but in a crude, non-structural way, with some heat and a large soldering gun to rejoin something in a pinch.
  9. We just breath different than you is all Terry! I find days it's worse with the electric on and you can't use it or things fog up worse.... but 85% of the time it's plugged in! I also removed my mouth/nose isolator from my helmut as I couldn't stand it. Adds to the fog as the helmut doesn't vent as designed. Just wish I had a full flip up front, as putting glasses on after the helmut goes on... taking them off before it comes off... and the fact they vibrate off the seat and get stepped on sucks!
  10. Let it start and then die... then pull a spark plug out and see if it's wet or dry. If dry it's not getting fuel.. if wet it's flooding itself somehow. Is it being started with a plunger type primer? or just a choke? If a plunger primer can he keep it running on the plunger? If he can.. fuel pump... or clogged jets. or as others have clearly stated already ripped carb boots and engine is just sucking air. Is the shake of start up grounding the kill switch wires somewhere?
  11. For both of us and our kids fella !
  12. Good for you Brian.. I taught my new "Grandaughter" how to lock and load on Thanksgiving.. much to her mothers dismay! Son put a ring on her mothers finger last Saturday, so I guess I have a granddaughter now! (and no that's not her beer can.. lol)
  13. Even my portable Epson picture printer won't take anything over a 4 GB card or a picture bigger than 3.9MB, so not surprised a digital picture frame won't run on a 32 gig card.
  14. Livin the dream there Bud... do you want another grandchild, I'm available!!
  15. Perfect ice fishing weather... makes me want to head North!
  16. My goal for 2015 is to make it through the year... without being incarcerated or certified !

  22. Wonder how many dollars worth I ruined in the 60's early 70's. We had our own store from the time I was 4 years old... I use to open pack after pack of cards just to get the gum! lol Cards went in the bike spokes!
  23. Left for Barrie at 10am.. back home by 3:15 with all my shopping done + some stuff at Lowes and HDepot. Even included a stroll through Cabelas, but didn't buy anything at their prices... Merry Christmas everyone!!

Their fishing prices are a bit high, but the hunting stuff is fair IMO.

  24. Yah.. I can say I do Joey. My dad ripped me one morning for finding a beer between the seats of the 'Bee when I was 18.. and I ended the conversation with "who parked your car, at least mines straight!". You get that cab returned yet Cliff?
  25. The problem becomes... when you go to leave on your schedule flight home and have had an accident with the rental... that if you decline the CDW because you're covered by your MasterCard "frills" you may get stuck on the island while they sort it all out. The rental company will demand you pay all the damages before leaving the island. That said, I've rented a lot of vehicles on almost every island in the carib and there's probably wanted or "do not rent to this guy" posters in every rental outlet.
