  3. Welcome aboard Caner! It's Muskie or huge Walleye time....can't help you with the cats.
  4. HAHAHA yep Dan...gets them young ones everytime. Some of the older female ones as well !!! LOL Just a size comparison..phone is 8.5" long
  5. I don't know why they had it so bad Shawn..but one was pretty damn gross. The whole side was raw, head to tail, and she bled ALL over the boat during the quick single picture shot after lifing her out of the net.
  6. Shawn...get the hell off the computer...hit the couch..let Julie bring you some beverages ! And take time to mend buddy!
  7. Bewildering...hopefully it was a REALLY healthy newborn to survive this ordeal.
  8. We boated our first at 10:40 yesterday. Mind you we didn't hit the water until 10:15 !
  9. Yep...the get a treat if they're quick !
  10. Yah..purists would kill me Graham! But covers = condensation..no matter how well they breath. And that's a 'bird..not a 'bee.
  11. Oh..they're dead Terry! I tink they get tired of swimmin after a while. This way you don't have to touch a disease ridden trap/mouse trying to get their neck free either!
  12. Actually Roy...they're only $16US a pair, complete with one weight/hook per pair...from RedOctober Baits. I think my total there was $93 Cdn when I checked out on Paypal...and it stripped the shipping costs at check out as well. A dozen baits ... for the price of a Legend Plow!
  13. Does this madness ever end.... you Esox chasers out there???
  14. Just don't have your knee a 1/2" back from a bare metal bumper when you do it!
  15. Just stuck a tig wire thru the bottom and the lid on the injection gate marks...trimmed a little notch in each side of the bucket for a pivot point and smeared peanut butter on two sides of the bottle. Looks like they got a little feast...before they went for a ride...as some butter is missin,
  16. Peanut butter tilt a whirl...works like a charm!
  17. I hear ya Pete...I never weigh fish. Never have..never will...even though there's probably at least 4 scales in the boat that people have bought me for Xmas presents etc. There's a lot that could be taught in this picture...but he is new..he is posting his success stories (like many never do around here) and he will learn like every one of us has from someone's scoulding, over time. I applaud him for sharing his fishing outing with us. I'd never be lifting/holding a muskie with the bait still in it's mouth either (after watching what these squirrley Kawartha Lake's skis do), but like I said the lads at least reporting on success, and the other things come with time.
  18. Remember...you can only fish Lake Temagami itself, for Lakers, from Feb 15th to Mar 15th. All the others in the area are Jan1 to Sept 30...or at least they were..scuttlebutt was the new regs were going to make the whole area one month only.
  19. Yah...he is a great guy Roger!!
  20. Yep...and most are staged...like the battery "throw"!
  21. Another great day on the water Mike !!
  22. Yep a nice looking muskie and they do get pulled out of the net head first anyhow most of the time. Curious why the weight estimate...when it's hangin on a scale though...don't yah know for sure?
