Hard to tell in the picture... is your auger exactly centre on the back? Becomes VERY important if you're going into any back lakes on portage paths..

With me friend Bunk.. on some Ontario body of water... at some point in time ! After last summers affairs... I have great plans to put many, many hours on my airplane and paddle many, many, back lakes for numerous species...enjoying life to it's absolute fullest (ie.. spending my childrens inheritance and then some).

These are the ones I use.. ..and BTW a red dot on a tree to most just means it's marked to be cut down. Although a 4" diameter Red dot is a legal Ontario No Tresspassing symbol..the best way to do so is on a white background, not just the tree. Makes it obvious what you are trying to convey. Ice cream tub lids work perfect for it.

Glad those days are done.. expecting to be at the in-laws one day and Mom's the next. That use to be a Milton to Barrie to Smiths Falls run for us.. always in the worst crap with the Ramcharger locked up in 4 wheel drive. The good thing... hopefully it will rain enough to knock down any snow on your favourite lake !
