  1. What year is the boat??? Is the green carpet just thrown down over top of the red?
  2. But Rick.. you didn't care about carpet colour yesterday ! lol Why we've been trying to tell this lad something for weeks...
  3. Sounds like they are busy enough that repeat business isn't their priorty. That will bite them in the ass in the years to come...
  4. http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=...c=mr&gtc=MR
  5. You've proved WHERE. Read the statistics I posted, pre registry full swing, for Canada. Knives account for more than guns.. guns are last for violent crime!.. and I bet a VERY small percentage,, if any, of those were registered.
  6. I was right.. the cover doesn't match the carpet ! lol What year is this boat that you were buying for sure>?? Is the full top any good... looks kinda rough in the picture.
  7. Sure glad that vehicles are registered! As for what's responsible for more deaths.. knives or guns.. ..and Canada gun crime comes in last..
  8. I think that last front brought winternet to OFC....
  9. Just the liquor other than residence fine.... but if you blow over .05 your floating chair will be impounded and you have to swim home ! lol
  10. The new law states impared operation of a VESSEL. They can take that right down to being on a floating chair if they really want to, to ruin your day.
  11. It's called liquor other than residence.. and a charge that has existed as long as I've been alive. You cannot drink alchol anywhere (in Ontario) but in a place that is considered a residence.. or space you are renting like a camp site in a PPark... or campsite on the lake etc. If you are transporting the alcohol anywhere other than directly from one residence to another (and can prove it like cottage to home) you better have a full case count while underway. Houseboats and full head crusiers get away with it because the have FULL living facilities. Now if you are in the USA.. different story depending on state/county etc. I've sat on the steps of the Capital building in DC and drank a beer. Under age.. but ..
  12. Next we'll be like Wales and England and need a licence for each TV in the house !
  13. Exactly Richyb.. is why the requirement for a POL or PAL came into effect before the deadline for the gun registry. Why would anyone obtain a POL if they didn't have a gun in the first place!!! So you comply and get your POL.. but then no guns registered... equals a knock on the door... so you are stuck registering what you have (or a least one or two ! )
  14. Oh.. the nonsense of it all. First when my POL was going to expire in 2007...I got a sticker sent to me for my POL to extend the expriy date to 2010. Now yesterday I get a letter from the RCMP (first thinking what did I do now...) to find it's an application for renewal for my POL. I have to get a passport style picture.. fill the thing all out and send it into them for a new one. The threats included with same state that if I don't renew, allowing minimum of 3 weeks before expiry, and my card expires I don't have a POL and am then in illegal possession of my firearms and they will come to the door and confiscat them. The really dumb part, on behalf of all the non-gun tote'n tax payers, is that the renewal is FREE... but what is this nonsense costing the tax payers!!?? My Step Father is one who got flustered with the whole Bull of the registry.. POL etc and walked into the police station with his 22 long rifle and surrendered it. Surprised Smiths Falls finest didn't shot him coming in the door! Something he wishes he'd never done... being down at the end of a long concession road on a 183 acre farm.. with cattle and the coyotes/ fishers that attack same..
  15. Not good... that reads lawsuit (to the tax payers) all over it. Glad that Leah just texted me 10 minutes ago.. to say she'd arrived in Ottawa...after a nasty 7 1/2 hour drive.
  16. At least you'd be able to drive home afterwards Steve.. 'cause that be Lew's Coke fridge!
  17. Keep that camera ready grt... They'll be back again with the smell of that Moose in there !
  18. No the thought of litigation is the other thread John!! This one is strictly should I or shouldn't I ! Come'on .. keep up! lol
  19. A way North of what.. he's damn near to Winterpeg.. yah know God's Country!
  20. Was gonna say Bubbles.. and he calls himself a Mod ! Must be Love....
  21. Thanks !!!! Unfortunate that nothing changed in Zone 11. Still a restricted 1 month Lake Trout season for the winter on all lakes (other than stocked) when it use to be just Lake Temagami that had this... and the 12.2" Brookie size limit (initiated in 2008 with no science) still applies to STOCKED lakes. Stocked lakes were supposed to be excluded from this Brookie "slot" when the public input phase was going on prior to the launch of the 2008/2009 regs.
  22. Unless the lake was wide open... before the 3 feet of snow fell... you'll be lucky to get on a Muskoka lake this season period.
  23. ..also consider resale. You're de-valuing it at that end as well if you don't submit it to the recall.
  24. All my rigger rods are done that way... lure.. then a high quality swivel snap on 6 or 7 feet of mono for shock absorbtion, then a high quality tiny swivel and then the power pro to the reel.
