  1. 2HP Jiffy Lightning with a 9" blade. I have to slap the 3 HP guys hands and tell them to use their own... Mine is so light you can run and gun with it.
  2. Glad you had a good time fellas! But how couldn't you?? We thought about you guys only having the weekend and were worried that you had the same bite shutdown we went through from Friday on when the sun came out. Monday to Thursday was wild though.... snow/sleat and FISH ! Joe caught a fish !!!
  3. You'll never regret the $200/$240 that you spend on the Stowmaster Cram. If you're gonna fish Muskie it's the best money you can spend IMHO. It's also so compact and handy that it will never leave the boat.. and so quick to deploy that it's always a choice when fishing for small stuff.. and something huge unexpectantly smacks your bait !! Make sure you get the "tennis racket" bag for it as well.
  4. Sorry to hear Tinman.
  5. You know where we can pull them up out of 70 FOW in the middle of the day.. but that's not the answer when they're in the slot! Don't worry Terry... we'll have fun even if you don't get one!! Have a few spots in mind.. many actually...
  6. For anyone that didn't know where to go... Dave's pointing it out for them.. TJ, One of Roy's sons, Bly, Pete Maina, Dan and his wife ... Joey, Monique and Leah. Corvette1 in the background in red (that drove the 2 hours from the USA to look at boats!) and TJ. Dave Mercer... signing my Pete Maina Shirt !!! LOL Pete Maina, Roy, TJ, Squid in the background. Kelvin (loonietoon), JP DeRose, Bly Leah having a good chat with Lawrence, the blind fisherman. For those that don't know this courageous man.. http://www.blindfishingboat.com/
  7. I'm not gonna wash that hand for a week... Great seeing you darling.. as well as everyone else that made the G2G and that we bumped into throughout the show.
  8. Scary when it costs more there than the Terminal 3 boarding lounge bar!! Gee Dan.. you didn't even have a cup anymore but your hand was still exercising...
  9. We'll I'll be.. now we have members admitting to them and their families being thiefs! What's next around here? Was it some of your family that tried to pull down the, live, telecomm cables up Hearst way?? "I don't know officer.. my brother was riding along on his ATV and died"... turned out he was standing in water while pulling the wires down off the poles!!
  10. Maybe so.. I was just pointing out that a quick google search showed at least 30 jobs available in your home town, but if you'd rather claim EI than earn a wage in your trade or get something outside your trade/other experience... enjoy the fishing !
  11. Legal in Ontario.. there is no "9 point" rule regardless of what some will try to tell you. You are allowed 4 hooks (single/double or treble) if not adding live bait to the rig.
  12. Not when paid to teach to a forum of impressionable youth! .. and Gerry might just be screening for Bull .. lol
  13. Trader... My F150 is now 7 years old now..the local Ford dealer still washers it everytime it's in for service, or an oil change, and each time I'm in I request and they give me a loaner car that I can drive anywhere I want with.. even if that meant I'd planned on heading to Winterpeg that day! Truck is in once every 6 or 7 thousand KM's. It has needed nothing but normal service and an exhaust manifold in 123,000 km and 7 years.
  14. Just ask her if some creep came along and grabbed her...threw her in a van.. tied her up and gagged her.. would she rather be killed and eaten.. or 2 minutes after the abduction released to run home?
  15. I didn't know that Carrie Underwood was a teacher....
  16. So how you making out Art... that tractor had time to cool off at all???
  17. Is the back left solid so you can drop it in the dirt for them pictures and not have the spool fill with silt???
  18. Thanks for dropping by the shop for a quick chat.. Sorry, Stan, that I didn't have much time to chat, but I'm on a mission.... trying to get her rebuilt and back into the air, so that I can go fishing!!! So did you make it to Rosseau... or did you fish in Midland Harbour.. and did you catch anything????
  19. Seems that Sal-Dan General Contractors are looking for various people in the Sault ! A quick check of Job connect in the Sault shows over 30 positions available for immediate employment up there in various careers. Personally.. I'd take the aircraft fueling gig for $10 an hour.. before I'd sit waiting for an EI cheque.. but that's me... and you have to pass a drug test and criminal background check to get it !
  20. So... YOU are buying the beer correct??? ('cause I promised Roy you were...)
  21. Thanks HH.. for the reality check !
  22. Yep.. just checked mine. The one i checked... the cartridge is dated 11/06.. Jacket manufactured Feb 2007.. so yah they are three years old, but I don't see it as an issue. They say to change the cartridge every three years.. but I can't see the need if it has enough pressure to show a green indicator in the little window. At least these auto's have an indicator.. my expensive Mustangs in the airplane have nothing to tell you if they are still good or not...
  23. Do what ever you, or whom ever, has to do Brad. It was the only option for a good portion of the last century... but like was pointed out to me, back when, "what if you miss". Take him to the vet.. I'll send you the money!
