What makes a good fishing partner?
irishfield replied to LostAnotherOne's topic in General Discussion
Someone that doesn't mind Musky fishing in December ! -
'till they open hunting season..

Those I show are my 24v (2x12) trolling motor batteries and the forward one is my 9.9 kickers battery. Another for the Verado in the back. All are 31 series. The trolling motors are flooded lead units and both engine batteries are AGM's.

So how are we going to launch or boats?
irishfield replied to captpierre's topic in General Discussion
18 days... and I don't think he has any plans to cross the border by then either... -
The way you asked... do you have a fishing licence or are you under 18? After that, have at it on what ever land is still open to fish from. Crown land is... just can't camp there.

I thought it was a great plan ! Leah's dumass Father hasn't come back from the USA yet, so you could use his laneway and launch.. directly in from the channel can... -
Lock and load coming to a riot line near you... ..chief can arm any member of the force that has completed a fire arm course and / (maybe or) taken a use of force course in the previous 24 months. So don't go camping on Crown Land... not sure what one has to do with the other..

Yep... there's a fair number of canoers at first sign of ice starting to go out that flock to Tmag..
-
Penetang's wharf, park and boat launch are closed.. mind you the bay is still full of ice...

1982 Prine "In the Round" on the turntable at Ontario Place. Was the first time that my Wife met my Sister just after we had married. I was at work and Leah had to roll my penny jar contents to take the TTC and to get into the park, until I got there after work. Been Prine fans ever since..

CTC website sucked on a good day.. I can't imagine what it's like now. -
Grain boat just blew it's horn leaving Midland Harbour..

I could make a tray slot to sterilize stuff in our furnace, as I installed UV sterilizers on both the cold air intake and above the A/C coil when Jen was fighting Sarcoma, but that said we have no intentions of leaving the property.. so at this stage at least not a requirement here. OF COURSE WITH THE FAN TURNED OFF !!!

Yep.. good eye. Must have been the A pillar deflector.. lol Atlanta Motor Speedway back in October. Had hoped to go down to Alabama again this October for another 50th anniversary gathering, but that ain't gonna happen.

What did you do with your boat today.
irishfield replied to Crimsongulf's topic in Non-Outdoors Open Discussion
I walk past it numerous times a day, giving thought as to whether I bother paying my $960 insurance due May 5th. Only worry is skipping a year and they refuse coverage next year. I paid last year and the boat never left the property with all we had going on, now this year I won't be allowed to head North. -
Bought an Ozone generator about 2 years ago for $59US to get rid of the mouse smell in one of my 50 year old cars. It even killed the Coyote !

Just to be clear.. there is ZERO pulp in an N95 mask. The Red Cedar pulp is used in basic surgical / procedure masks and paper style gowns. Stop reading crap on facebook.... and spreading fake news. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/article-vancouver-island-pulp-mill-supplies-materials-for-medical-protective/

I put my Baron on the trailer right to the stop roller with the engine and some years in late September/Early October the water is pretty skinny, so I could use this gizmo.. but I wouldn't.

A full week of sunshine and it may be dry enough for me to "launch" right from the yard to go fishing.... BUT I won't, because if I screw up I'll be a burden on the health care system !
