  1. I've already done it many times.. spending a day with good old Roy !
  2. Great stuff Al.. well all but the health issues.. well and maybe fishing with Bunker !
  3. So it's over a 12" diameter tree.. thanks Joey for clarification! Probably lots of people on the Don Valley reserve hackin and wapping right now.
  4. The real issue in Toronto, Art, is you can't cut any trees over, I believe, 6" in diameter without a mega dollar permit.. and in m any cases they won't let you cut at all. I commented to someone in the city the other day that the ice storm = a wonderful excuse to get rid of any tree you don't want right now. Cut it down.. clean it up and say the ice storm damaged it and you had no choice.
  5. Gauge in the green.. turn it upside down and hit it a few times with a rubber mallet.
  6. Don't forget lose lips sink ships Mike... here's a "secret" crappie hole today on G Bay !!
  7. Yah.. if I didn't my goose would be cooked Dan !
  8. I guess the hut can go on the roof.....
  9. Cold up there...
  10. Don't tell my wife... the new lure excuse will go right down the drain !
  11. Mine too... but answer you email Will ! lol
  12. I won't be if it's not there to put in the fire box.. otherwise we be cold...
  13. Exactly Brian.. way to early in the season for anyone to be getting cocky and just running out to where they want to fish (although I've seen many doing it). The lake Terry, Lloyd and I fished the Thursday before Christmas had 6" here... 4" there and then less than that just 10 feet away.. all over the place with no rhyme or reason to it. Here is the safest fisherman I saw today... just not sure what kind of dirt puppy he's fishing for!!
  14. Now that shot is priceless!!
  15. Was out for a flight today... and the slush fields on Georgian Bay, Gloucester Pool, 6 mile, Tea Lake, South Bay... etc are immense. Unfortunately there is still about 80% white snow on top everywhere and no matter how cold it gets it will stay slush for a long long time unfortunately.
  16. Yep.. heading for camp on Tuesday and -34 and -35c look like the daily temps for Tue / Wed / Thur. Oh well.... hopefully nobody has stolen my red oak !
  17. Is that Cougar quarter in your pocket Joey... sorry.. I just couldn't resist!
  18. Your sled is dead... that's not good... not good at all ! Great day out guys.. sure beats what I've been doing.. removing 22" of wet snow from the enclosed trailer roof and airplane wings and pushing snow banks back with the tractor.
  19. My mother and sister both collected mint $1 and $2 bills, so we have lots around here.. as well as Centennial dollar bills... and as Steve points out are worth face value on any good day. Now King George $10 bills are another story and I won't say how many of those I have.
  20. Yah for sure Nip... but we're talking zone 15 here. As for 11... I'll be playing in that zone come Tuesday!.. well maybe Friday as Tue, Wed, Thur are to be -35c! As Greg has shown, zone 15 has to be one of the best winter playgrounds there is... especially with early ice, but be very aware of your lake situation and "chip.. chip...chip chip" your way out. Most of these lakes have current and springs.
  21. Publicity stunt.. through and through!
  22. "They're" allowed to do that Dan ! lol
  23. Walleye is open just about everywhere.. it's Lakers that are closed until Jan 1st.. except on the 50+ year round lakes in zone15 and why Greg isn't too worried about someone figuring out which lake he was fishing!
  24. So how many screw ups before they rip that C off your buddy Dion's jersey Dan!
