Came home from taking Jen to Toronto General.. to a message on the machine. "We can't fill your tanks today as promised.. we need different forms filled out than the ones you faxed us. The Insurance company inspect sheets... even with TSSA # and signatures and the fact they're almost identical to the Ontario Oil Council Inspection sheets... aren't legal enough for us to risk our Insurance on!" When it comes to 'sense', insurance companies certainly don't produce it. I hate how they are allowed to set rules for anything while they ignore sound technical know-how.

TSSA states that aboveground tanks have no expiry date unless they are leaking, yet the insurance companies get to override them while nobody else can.

..and Cliff, I'd rather an oil leak than a propane leak in my basement! Of course I wouldn't be stupid enough to call anyone about the oil leak.. ;o)
