I noticed something here in this thread that I did not like but the mods continued to let happen where they wouldnt let it happen in another thread without locking and or deleting it. Guys at no time did I say I was leaving the board or not posting. I will just be thinking twice before I comment on any fishing product. This board is a great place with many great people that I am proud to call my friends. It's just to bad that often when any pro posts something he is jumped on and accused of spamming. But hey I guess it is easy to do that when you don't use your real name like I do. Maybe I should register a different screen name that I can just use for such attacks. Hmmmmmm what should it be maybe something really cool....something like Grimace but I think that is already taken lol. So Dave can openly flame Grimace for stating his honest and frank opinion, but if another "regular member" (who isn't a 'pro' was to say something like that the thread would get locked if not deleted. Just sayin guys. A little nepotism here? Just remember it's guys like us that pay for pro's free rides. A prostaff fisherman really is just a really good salesman.

Beauty congrats man. My girlfriend loves to drive our boat. She loves to be on the water fishing or just cruising. She was formally trained to sail at Kingston Yacht Club for about 10 years and I'm sure has more boat control in her left finger then I do in my whole body.

I worked at home depot for about half a year a little while ago and a lot of people always wanted the really clear pieces of hard wood like maple, oak, and poplar but personally i really like the unique pieces with a lot of grain in them. that is a really nice touch to the staircase. Good job Lew.

Good point, ive had months where i've sent 3-4 thousand texts and many many emails on my iphone, don't let people fool you, the keyboard is the least of your worries. if you like pulling the battery out 3 or 4 times a day and waiting 5 minutes for your phone to load back up then go with the blackberry. just talking from personal experience.

Had a blackberry for 7 years, just got an iphone4 less than a year ago and i'll never go back, people always say blackberry is more geared towards business but i know a lot of business people that are switching to iphone, push email everything so i'd say go more with the iphone, you'll get more out of it!

Well, I got my girlfriend to her job safely, and after all, if that copper stopped me a minute later or earlier I could have been in a horrible crash. Im thanking him for giving me the lowest of my 3 possible fines. And I deserve it. I'm the one who messed up. Thanks for all the responses y'all. So I was driving down Queenston road in Hamilton thsi morning dropping my girlfriend off at work. All of the sudden the light turns yellow, nd I make no attempt to stop as it was still wet out and I was on the side where there was still a little snow left over. As I'm going through the light I notice a cop in the other side. crap I say to myself, my girlfriend says is he coming after you? Yep I say. So he comes up to my car, license, ownership, insurance. I start digging through my glove box looking for my little wallet with the slips in it. No where to be found. So I say sir I appologize I can't seem to find my ownership and insurance. He goes back to his car, and comes back with a ticket in hand. Charles do you realize a redlight ticket is $450 dollars and 5 points as it went up last January, not having your ownership is 100 dollars, and not having your insurance slip is 65 dollars. I apologize to him telling where I think my information might be and he says no worries. I noticed you like to fish he says ( I had5 5 or 6 ice fishing rods in the back of my car as well as a couple tip ups) He made some small talk about fishing. and said well I've given you the lowest ticket which is not being able to produce your insurance slip and its 65$ dollars. He sends me on my way and says good luck fishing! I'm taking that as one fisherman to another. He let me off big time! My girlfriend said thank god you had those rods in the back!

Can't believe nobody mentioned to dump a gallon of methyl hydrate into a quarter tank of gas. then get her nice and hot and off you go.

Most outfitters out there have a quad or sled or truck with a sleigh and I'm sure if you offer them a couple bucks they'll take you out to at least their huts! I know theres a bunch in gilford and a bunch at killarney beach. best bet is to give them a call and see.

Damn, wish I could have said the same for one I hooked 2 weeks ago in Keswick. Wish I would have landed her, was about the same size for sure. Watched her cruise by under our portable a few times then finally grabbed my minnow. snapped at the knot on one of those davidson perch rigs. Nice catch man.

Well, brings the fish up fast. Doesnt tire them out. Doesn't tire you out. Definitely won't make you friends in an ice hut haha.

I have a Normark suede bore which is basically the same thing except the blades dont have a curve to them. I bang it all over the place and I bang it up and down in the hold to knock off the edges at the bottom of the hole and it still cuts like new.
