  1. Would love to get in on this action, I'm from Hamilton as well. Never caught a walleye in my life!
  2. The gunnels on our boat are not wide enough so they will be bolted to the back corners of the boat.
  3. Hey drifter, thanks for your post, it really helped. What I am looking for are those bases that you slide your driggers into that you have bolted to the gunnels.
  4. Wow, well wherever it is, pretty amazing shot! Good find.
  5. Hey dude, I picked up the Shimano Sonora at the Sportsman show for $45 bucks and I couldn't be happier, smooth baby smooth! Here are the specs 5:2:1 Ratio 8/140 $45
  6. Wow, thats insane. How do you know where the picture was taken?
  7. Hi guys, my dad and I are getting the new boat ready for the water today. We had to rewire the aerator and bilge because the guy we bought it off of had a really shotty wiring job done. Anyway it's a 16' Starcraft aluminum. We have some Cannon Easy-troll manual downriggers we want to get mounted on it. How did y'all do yours? Whats the best way? Thanks in advance Charles
  8. Sweet video my friend! What lure is that if you don't mind me asking?
  9. Congrats on that man. But what am I missing here, I've never fished for carp, they gross me out for one, they aren't a pretty fish, bass, pike, muskie, browns, rainbows, speckles, to me those are beautiful fish! Is it the fight they put up? What is it? They just don't appeal to me. Fill me in guys!
  10. Hey all, I thought I saw a thread somewhere around here for fishing partners. Can't find it now... Anyway, I'm from Hamilton mountain, just looking for a buddy or some buddies to go out and well of course catch some fish, I am not a float or fly fisherman as I don't have the equipment, but I would like to catch any species.
  11. Thanks for the info guys. I'll be sure to post some pics when I get back!
  12. Hey guys, I'm new here, I am also pretty new to the fishing world, I am 19, from Hamilton, Ontario. I just started fishing this year, my dad and his buddies had a trip planned to Rice Lake, back in July and they asked me to come along and that is how I got into the fishing world, ever since...I've been "hooked." Well, here is my question. I am going to Wolfe Island, Kingston, for the thanks giving weekend to visit some family, who live on the island, I want to do some fishing as I hear it is pretty good up there, I can't find too much info on the area ie. What species of fish are there? What kind of gear should I be throwing in the water etc. I will only really have access to a canoe. If anyone could give me some insight, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks guys!
