  1. you have a pm mike
  2. no reason not to figure it out yourself on gbay either Rizzo. most important part of getting a guide IMO is learning to get around safely. you can grab a nautical chart, study it, have a gps on board and achieve the same thing. places to fish will take care of themselves -- you know where to find 'em.
  3. even if they actually won something meaningful, they are still in ottawa and have ottawa fans (?).
  4. chin up leaf fans. yes the team stinks this year but, things could be worse - we could be in ottawa.
  5. happy guy fawkes night
  6. You can thank the boys at JBs for replacing it over the counter for you. Typically, warranty claims involve shipping the busted rod/reel to the manufacturer. JBs handles that for you. Try getting that kinda service at bass pro.
  7. She's in good hands and I'm sure all will be well Wayne.
  8. stupid incidental fish hitting a muskie lure - one of the bigger ones i've caught no idea what it weighed or its dimensions
  9. that's pretty cool wayne. how fast are you moving when you touch down?
  10. whoah, a VHS?
  11. Very true. My issue with a lot of PTs is that they plop you on a treadmill like a hamster and either omit entirely or incorporate a very limited weight training program that consists of high-rep isolation exercises. An approach like Sinclair mentioned, with heavy compound lifts, a bit of cardio for the ticker and most importantly, a sound diet will do wonders.
  12. keep in mind canadianpardons.ca is a private company that does the work for you and will cost extra than doing it yourself. some other details I remembered in addition to the local police check(s) (for which you have to pay), there is fingerprinting ($$$), and applying to the parole board ($$$). it is not inexpensive once all is said and done.

  14. She will need to go to any and all Police Depts in areas she has resided over the past x number of years to get a letter saying she has kept her nose clean. There is a fee (I don't recall exact $$) but it is in the hundreds of dollars range and the wait time once all that is done is well over 6 months. There is propably more I am missing
  15. here's my contribution to the mammals in water theme
  16. nice work. low-carb diets can be tough to follow but they are effective once you get rolling i presume they got you lifting weights at good life? if not, it's a really good idea and i am of the belief that cardio is overrated (although not a bad thing at all!!) think of your body as a furnace, the more muscle you have the hotter it is & the more calories it burns -- even when you're doing sweet nothing.
  17. it's really hard to have a full on hate for the habs now that ottawa has a team.
  18. It was likely used to communicate with others while off-roading on trails. Congrats on the Heep!
