They have a limit of 30 in the Kawarthas, but that didn't stop the spots from being raped to the point of not being able to catch a single crappie out of some past honey holes. They were invasive, but a lot of fun while it lasted. Here to stay though, so maybe they will rebound. I am envious of our friend in the north!!!!!!!1

Yep, you have to beat everyone to win the cup, so does it really matter when certain teams meet. I guess the owners like to see their team go further because of the revenue generated from every round.

I don't mind the wind on some lakes, but it drives me crazy on the shallow weedy lakes. Real tough to fish rice beds in the wind.

Nothing worse than windy days for fishing if you ask me. I have noticed that there are more windy days than calm days; that's for sure.

I probably won't be around when this all comes into full operations, so I'm good. It might be cool to see a muscle car with no driver behind the wheel though. Can the owner program the AV to do all the stuff one of those does? I am for AV's if they prevent deaths. FYI: I was typing a response here and the technology said no you don't and booted me out of the site. LOL Sorry I still don't trust it even though tech is part of my every day life.

I do use some of them, but I don't really have another choice. I have a choice with my vehicle at the moment. I have a hard time seeing a 401 full of AV's. Do they have a way of telling another vehicle they have to get into their lane to exit the highway? Sorry not very knowledgeable about AV's and how they will fit into the system. I do know that computers are not my friend and they are worse when they are not working efficiently. I guess they would be okay with the newer generations that are comfortable with technology. I see tech being forced on everyone from banks, entertainment to now AV's. I couldn't afford one anyway.

Some of you have way too much faith in technology. It always breaks down when you need it the most. No steering wheel???? I just can't see myself putting my safety in the hands of a computer.

Sad that someone has no respect for others. Always good to avoid confrontation, because you never really know the person and what they are capable of. I might have called the police though.

I live on Pigeon Lake and I wouldn't recommend going on any of the kawartha lakes, as others have said. I am disappointed as I am usually ice fishing into the beginning of April on most years.

Those Simcoe whities are crazy, never seen anything like it has been this year. Was out on Sunday and they didn't disappoint us. We kept a couple to eat and put on the smoker.

Welcome to the world where insurance companies rule it. I would lean towards not insuring it. However, you require insurance if you are going to fish organized tournaments. This stuff drives me crazy.

I can't fish without them. Helps to see under the surface and protects your eyes from the glare; just as others have said.
