  1. You shouldn't feel too bad if you follow the limits in the regs.
  2. We need more people like that. It's too bad the culprits don't get caught or see this and feel a little guilt.
  3. All I can say is that I saw some pictures recently from someone's fishing trip there and they hammered the smallies. I think he was mentioning that they were catching them very shallow; however, that could have changed by now. I believe they were throwing gobie imitation.
  4. I caught my first one about fifty years ago around Honey Harbour and my father called it a calico bass.
  5. I just replaced a transducer on my fish finder. It wouldn't mark the temp and it showed all kinds of wacky depths. It clicked away when it wasn't working, so you can't depend on that as a sign that the transducer is shot. The new transducer fixed everything.
  6. I'm sure that crappie are native to the great lakes and have slowly spread to inland lakes through the lock systems, accidental transfer or intentional illegal stocking.
  7. Well said and we should all follow that direction you have given us. Glad you have a second chance!
  8. Sounds like you lucked out with finding a working one and now have a back up peddle! Nice.
  9. Not sure about the wiring, but if you live close to me, you can drop by and plug that foot peddle into my motor to see if it works.
  10. That Head lake is not a lake to mess with. You must see all kinds of interesting incidents.

    Krocs

I bought a pair of Birkenstock all plastic sandals and they are great. A little more expensive than the knock off crocs though.
  12. That's quite the harvest already. I'm envious and the darn red squirrels are going to effect my yield. :-(
  13. I lost a lot of respect for Minn Kota when they discontinued making parts for older electrics. Haven't used your old one yet Kris, still humping along with mine. Nice to have a backup though
  14. I would love to see all the bass tournaments move to larger bodies of water. Bigger fish and more space, with less impact on the lake. Just my opinion.
  15. I used to be a taxidermist and the largest muskie I mounted was a 57" fish that weighed in the 40's. Out of the St. Lawrence. Anglers love to exaggerate. LOL That is not close to a record.
  16. Are they a great lakes fish in Nippissing? I know they are in the French, but are they same?
  17. Yeah, check out Frog Toggs
  18. It doesn't look much bigger than Lew's fish considering it's a great lakes fish (unless Lew's is a great lakes also, lol). I don't think the fish will die..
  19. What he said, unless you can find someone with a good foot peddle lying around.
  20. LOL, thanks for the offer Dan. I don't know if I will ever get to London though....
  21. Thanks for all the help and offer guys. Hey Dan - Just concerned about a 11.5 hp turning a 48" deck. Good deal and I will call him, I doubt I will pull it together by Sunday though if I go that route.
  22. 225 65 16 is mentioned in the topic title
  23. Just the deck shell if possible.
  24. says not available unfortunately....
