  1. Beat me to it. Exotic Woods is where I bought the marine plywood for my boat.
  2. Most fly in lakes that have logging roads accessing them don't have exclusive rights to the lake. However using those roads to access the lakes is in most cases illegal. It's not surprising the fly in guys chop holes in the boats.
  3. Glad your trip went well Chris, I'd love to see some pic's.
  4. Sweet fish. That's lake Muskoka for ya though, fewer but usually larger walleye. It can be a tough nut to crack, job well done!
  5. Hey man at least it's not on Wonderbread and you've got some nice looking cheese there too. Two thumbs up!
  6. Here's what I'm hoping for tonight. They play a scoreless game and take it to 12 overtime periods with both teams finally collapsing from exhaustion. Bettman declares neither team truly deserves the cup and for the first time ever it's pronounced a draw. (Hey it could happen. )
  7. Yes it does make a difference. There's a reason why insurance companies have different rates depending on age gender and experience.
  8. A great day for sure...but bologna and hot sauce sandwiches? I need a retching emoticon. LOL!
  9. It was a 19 year old girl with a 2 week old G2 talking on her cel phone who rear ended my wife while she was stopped at a red light. My two kids aged 4 and 2 were in the back seat. Miraculously no injuries. I'm not real big on second chances.
  10. I'm not going to even go there Dan. Seems to me you're not missing out on anything.
  11. I agree with what you're saying Dan, they're decent rods. But 38 million modulus is far from a top quality blank.
  12. I'll be fishing smallies this weekend, 7 hours north at my camp. For all you fans of largemouth bass fishin', a video to whet your appetites. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/vcFXdLY6Z-0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  13. That would be sweet to see, but first you need to buy a white jumpsuit and change your name to Super Dave. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XuSUq6IZqFc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  14. Exactly! Obviously shifting gears at idle speed is necessary for docking. I doubt many people would slam their boat into reverse at 5mph while docking. IMO you're getting shafted here. I'd bug the marina to death 'till they fixed the motor.
  15. When you come to your senses and realize it's far too small for you I'll happily take it off your hands!
  16. Gorgeous looking fish! Must have been anadventure trying to grab them.
  17. I havn't purchased a vehicle since the HST kicked in, you could be right.
  18. So true. Your cash purchase price is always better than the so called "zero percent" finance rate that so many dealerships are offering. I love haggling and I love buying vehicles but I'll never buy from a dealership. I prefer to buy something a year or two old privately. You save on taxes, the initial depreciation of the vehicle, and there's always way more room to haggle if you find someone desperate enough.
  19. What a life you're living Simon, you're truly blessed.
  20. Not surprisingly photobucket was saying I had exceeded my bandwidth and needed to upgrade to Pro. I did and it's still not working!
  21. On the east side of the park Lake Traverse is nice. The Magnetewan flows throught it (it's more or less a widening of the river). Very nice sandy beaches and decent fishing for walleye, bass and some musky.
  22. Hey I would love it if my wife wanted to sneak off in the boat by herself. I have better odds of simultaneously winning the lottery and getting struck by lightning. All in all looks like a really fun weekend. Nice to see you caught a fish for you grandma.
