I can't add a whole lot...except years back I stayed there one night at the end of a canoe trip.
Beautiful facility, very well kept with really nice cabins.
I fished Caribou lake from my canoe and caught tons of fish. I don't expect much has changed.
It's been on my list of trips to do, I've always wanted to go back. Havn't found the time yet.
You likely would be hard pressed to find a better drive to destination in that region imo.
Pretty much same week I was there Doug, you'll love it!
I've got some GPS coordinates for you.
Thanks for all the kind words everyone, this thread won't die.

Sorry, couldn't resist
Simple question that I can't find a definitive answer to.
If you're fishing with a kid who doesn't require a license can that child keep their own limit of fish or not?
Couldn't find the answer online and the MNR put me on hold when I called.
Ummmmm....let me think about that.
No!
Yesterday it was paineful when she took the last 20 from me. I suppose that'll become more and more common as she gets older LOL!
Once again thanks for the kind words everyone, glad you enjoyed.
Nice healthy looking fish! A floating Rap mid day in 35' of water? Do you think that fish was suspending laterally off a mid lake hump?
Didn't seem as though you were close to shore.
Wow Adam, you weren't kidding about a surprise! Did you get one that big on the Attawapiskat?
My guess, especially considering you caught a brook trout as well, you stumbled onto a spring hole. Don't tell anyone.
