LONDON - Jim Marshall, who helped shape the sound of rock with his groundbreaking amplifier designs, has died. He was 88. His son Terry Marshall said he died in a hospice in England on Thursday morning after suffering from cancer and several severe strokes. Jim Marshall was known throughout the music world for founding Marshall Amplification, which produced the amplifiers that rocked music halls and arenas after their introduction in 1960. Photographs from the era show many of rock's most illustrious guitarists performing in front of stacks of Marshall amplifiers. Jimi Hendrix, Pete Townshend, Jimmy Page and others were drawn to the rough, loud sound produced by the English-made amps. Rest in Peace.....Thanks

To be honest I dont really have a feeling either way for hitting an animal as long as I walk away. I do have a soft spot for dogs and I have hit a couple. I was in the same situation as you and I was more pi$$ed at the lady for alowing her dog to get in the situation. As for the flowers its over move on. Just me

Let the slamming begin Okay i have got to come clean here a bit. I do like 870 but about 10 years ago I bought a norinco 870 knock off with an extra rifled barrel for about 315 out the door I sent the smooth barrel up to epps had the forcing cone opened up and had it laser ported ports are up and back cut I have to say i dont shoot any thing else and I have stoned a wide variety of critters with it. It is a continual winner at turkey shoots and cleans up nice all you got to do is be nice to it it has stayed tight its in 3 inch and probably had a few thousand rounds anyway I have never had a jam the only other things i did to it was put a pistol drop on it and a red dot I did that before it was ported kick is very minimal it was a mule before. all this was done for under 600(total price of gun included) pardon the pun it is a bullet proof gun. Im not a big fan of made in china but I looked at it this way they have been playing around with stuff that goes boom longer then anyone else. I bought it from a shop in hamilton cant remeber the name though you have to buzz the door to get in. Just my 2 cents Peter

its truly sad really, all the big predators are being slaughtered wholesale It is a free for all until its gone and then what. a very high percentage of the top end is gone and not coming back it is having devestating effects everywhere I have footage that you would not even begin to believe from friends down east that fish for a living(small inshore/offshore boats). tons and tons of fish thrown overboard dead because they werent part of the quota that have ben compressed in a dragger net. Okay im stopping because its making me boil. Take a picture throw it back would you be this happy or easy on someone that keeps a 70lb muskie I dont think so Peter

A couple of guys from our unit were in the last one they did. Although it is very informative to see and I do recommend you see it I think anyone that plays in cold water should test out their gear in the same cold water in a controlled manner(beach with a rope and a buddy) in very cold water not dressed for the pool but with everything on you are going to be out in(make sure it floats you). It is a shock and what you think may be your reaction to a situation changes very quickly when you loose your grip Just saying Peter

UGLY STICKS hands down!!!!!!!! The reason I say this is because my kids are all 19+ now they have been fishing since sthey could walk and over the years the have won at alot of derbies and as you can imagine alot of rods and reels have been won and out of that the only ones that survive are the ugly sticks Im here to tell you that the beating they can take cant be matched by any other rod I have numerous other rods with broken tips missing eyes and whatnot but the ulgy sticks survive Just my 2 cents Peter
