  10. Morning All As some of you may know I have be dableing in a long lost skill set trying to get my chops back. I admit over the last couple of years fishing has taken a back seat to pavement and rubber. back in the 80's when I first saw it I was amazed absolutely nothing like it same recipie for 20 plus years I came I saw and I played . Well this year I decided to step into the 21st century and the smily face continues. Meet the new DOGTOWN EXPRESS as the great John luc Piccard says.....ENGAGE!!! Quad was never really doable on stage when it came out it was very complex and needed much back tracks and machines on stage for the four what was witnessed last night is what pete envisioned it to be and yep that has to be the best who show i ever saw very fat very visual and the guys were just a plowing great great great show well worth every cent and it may turn out to be the last go around an opus maybe Peter
  15. http://atlantic.ctvnews.ca/search-underway-for-fishermen-after-boat-capsizes-off-n-s-1.1161129 Its weird I feel like i have an ice pick through my heart right now in all likely hood I either grew up with a parent of one of these guys or a good chance Im releated to one of them every time this happens i feel very cold. It is a rough life very rewarding but very rough and the crews that work rescue in that neck of the woods are some of the best on the planet my thoughts are with the families of these men and the crews going out to rescue them. the light is on Peter
  16. Joe I do agree with you but to see these guys rip it up for what could be the last go around i cant pass it by they got a good back ground their doing quad and really what kind of Who fan would i be if i didnt go truly one of the last of the greats check out 515 in montreal on you tube yeah no ox and rogers pipes arent what they used to be but hell im a WHO fan through and through Long Live Rock
  17. Anyone else going to see The Who tonight in the Hammer CANT WAIT bouncing of the walls Peter
  18. shiny spoons shiny stick and crank baits and leaders dont forget the leaders just as the sun comes up and before it goes down try to catch the tides coming up get a tide table for the week your there you cant beat silver if you use shrimp from the resort you can catch all the bait you need to put on a hook right through the middle of its back and throw it out. If you dont catch fish when you are there you will be required to sell all your gear when you get home unless you really want to dont try and target specific fish there is a wide variety there and they are always hungry watch what the locals are doing
  19. keep in mind that a jacket does not necessarily mean that its approved alot of times 2 piece systems need both parts worn together to meet the standard. Peter
  20. the big key to all this is to stay dry i dont mean falling in the water wet but persperation.it is a bad deal at night you dont want to be so warm you sweat like ron said roll your cloths up and put them in your sleeping bag down the sides just me but i sleep in just my under wear (hat and socks as well) and wake in the morning step outside pull my nice toasty cloths out get dressed and start the day .....trust me it works. and mounding snow on the outside helps as well. a good insulating ground cover is a must. Cheers
