I have never caught one that big and I love crappies. Nice fish!!!!!! However, my 11 year daughter caught a 16"er soon after ice out. It looked like a largemouth at first.

I found the two duo colors I wanted and two luck e strike colors I needed to. It was a successful mission. Anyone ever fish the lucky craft pointer XD (extra deep)?

The luck e strike r a rip off of the 110's and they work great and r cheap.

I agree. Can he prove it actually happened? Paying to fix it at a reasonable cost for that aged vehicle is fine but he deserves to get stiffed now.

We had one. It was always acting up. Got rid of it and set our own programmable one to March up with lower rate times - way better.

Unfortunaley I did not. I was coaching my sons team in a tourney and then it got crZy cold. I tried to get my buddy to go on Saturday but he talked me into simcoe lakers - and we got skunked.

I have the ice ducer. I am gonna upgrade mine to the latest version too but I think it is gonna stay the same overall.

Hey Pete. I had similar issues. This unit is not the greatest below 80' IMO. I got it running well enough last time to see my bait the whole time. I had an unusual amount of noise in background as I needed to creep my color line up from 80-? until the background turned to yellow fuzz while at 100% sensitivity. That did it. I also set a custom depth from 30 down to 10 feet below the depth of the water. Manual mode. Fastest ping. And ice view worked best for me. Personally I think nunos unit works better than mine which makes me think they have ducer probs. his works on auto sensitivity pretty much with no fiddling. I know this unit well. Mine would never worki like that. No offense intended nuno. You seem like a good guy. I think they have transducer issues myself. As uentioned it is a great unit for 80' and shallower. Picks up micro panfish jigs in 20' beautifully.

I drove my kid to a hockey game yesterday. The 501 was the worst I have ever seen it. Crazy. I hit simcoe often and have a few buds I usually go with. Feel free to pm me if u r thinking of going. We perch a lot in vb area and I do fish for trout a but, but apparently not very well:)
