  1. We pre-mix scrambled eggs into a 750ml bottle (empty water bottle). Use as needed. Throw bottle out when done. I've only needed them to last a few days on my short little trips. And they always do. Just make sure you shake them bottle up good before cooking. You can also throw some pepers, and onions, stuff like that, then you've got pre-mixed omets. You can buy the premixed, pre-bottled cartons of eggs, but people tell me their not to healthy.
  2. Good job Paul! Thanks for pics. Just what I needed before a weekend of pike fishing
  3. The water is really low right now. There's a government launch in Vic Harb. But with the water so low, it's a bit of a pain. Plus they re-did the parking there, so now there's only room for about 3 or 4 vehicles :wallbash: If you get there past 6:30ish, all the spots are taken. Aside from that. There are lot of marinas in the area. I can't remember the name, but there's a trailor park on the north side of the Wuab Channel. You take the old steel bridge to get there. They have a launch, and lots of parking. Super cheap. Decent launch.
  4. You should be alright in your inflatable out in penetang bay. Just watch out for the weather conditions. I've never fished Little lake, so I can't comment on that. But if I had to chose between the two, it would be G-Bay for sure.
  5. Dang, that sucks. Those guys where my favs. They used to go hunting for odd critters to eat when they wheren't huntin gators.
  6. I have bad eyes. Before HD I had to wear glasses to see the puck when watching Hockey. Now that I have HD, I don't need my glasses to see the puck!.. If I wear my glasses, It crazy clear. Worth the money IMO.

  10. Congrets on the successful outing! Great way to start the season.
  11. Sure Solo, it was the "waves" pounding on the beach that distracted you from the bear
  12. What, no MNR stings? They did it on Wild Justice!
  13. Wups. Double post... Don't know how that happened.
  14. That's great Bruce. Wow, she looks a lot like her brother in the Pic eh. (from the pics I've seen on OFC of him anyways)
  15. That's cool. If you have a chance, post some pics of the completed project. I'd love to see that!
  16. :wallbash: Fishing walleye in a sanctuary, and ends up spearing a Sturgeon. "Special rights" is a bit of on understatement.
  17. Wups What if it's mixed? Vodka waters is one of my camping favs. Almost always in a nalogine. 50-50, with a shot of lemon.
  18. Epi Pen? Anyone your going with have an allergies?

  21. Never been to the interior of AP myself either. But I do go for long camping trips in the back country. My suggestions for a few items would be: A good knife Bow Saw Small Stove/Burner w/fuel Fishing gear (Obviously) Rope Tarps 4 litre bag of red wine Compact cooking gear / utensels Cooking oil / butter lighters in zip-lock bags Toilet Paper There's a couple things. I'm sure people with chim in with some other good stuff It all depends on how light you want to travel.
  22. It was a video of a homeless guy being beated to death by some cops in California. Not suited for OFC. I understand the intent of the post, but the content of the video was over the top for a site like OFC. You didn't miss anything Lew. But if you have an itching to find out more. The guys name was Kelly Thomas. The cops are being charged, one with murder.
  23. I love all kinds of fishing. My favourite depends on who's in the boat with me. I'm a big fan of silently trolling with my electric. Pike and Walleye are almost always the target, but the Bass like to join the fight too. You sneak up on all sorts of things. Like loons, wildlife, and cottagers tanning topless on their docks!!
  24. What'd I miss?
  25. FYI The local bait shop in Barrie, the Rack and Reel is for sale.
