here is my justherb fish i caught it last night on lake nipissing and the beer I have tonight i will sure think of your pal!

Drove up to North bay yesturday and was ready to hit the water when i noticed some storm clouds rolling in. Sure enough it hit. every 15 minutes a new small cell would come rolling in. No fishing friday for me. I did get out early this morning. only boat on the bay. Fished about 20 minutes and the clouds started rolling in. Sorry didnt get any pics of the rain but it sure came down for about 45 minutes. It was only about 15 degrees so it sure was cold. With the storms last night the fishing shut right down. I stayed out until about 11am with not even a bite. I decided to give it another try and hit the water at about 4pm. The wind was blowing pretty hard but the fishing sure did pick up from the morning. The sun came out and the skies got a little nicer. The wind died a little bit the sun shined down and this woke the fish up. This little guy hit a spinner bait. he did some jumping and pulled pretty good for a smaller fish. I got this walleye on a 5 inch rebel. he measured right under the 40cm slot. I thought it was a pike it fought so good. I was amazed when I got a look at it and relaized it was only a 2 pound eye! This is the first fish I have kept so far this year for breakfast in the morning. Another 2pound smallie hit! Then i got into a new first for me. A little silver bass.(i think) Looks kind of like a rock bass crossed with a whitefish? That was it for the eve. I trolled back to the docks and took a couple pics of the sunsetting. Im up here for 4 more days so I hope I get into more fish when the weather stabalizes a bit more. I will post a report again tommorow night. Cheers!

Ok I hope that this really happens. For some reason i dont think the biker community will be as accepting as the july long weekenders will be in eastern ontario. im sorry i understand the natives may be upset over whatever there issue is this month but this is absolutely a bunch of crap. if it was any other group they would be thrown in jail and maybe the judge would look at the case late next week sometime! I cant wait. Going to be fishing nipissing 6 days straight. have some family things to do as well but mostly this trip is about hitting the water. the shad flies will be bad and the weather will be cool but im going to have a blast. i will plan on posting reports while im up there. no costco in north bay but you can hit the one in barrie on your way up. i think its just off the 400. walmart and canadian tire both in north bay will have marine batteries too. cheers!

yeah not much sense in that????? maybe golfers have special privlages lol why cant you have a beer in a paddle boat again? whats next no walking after having a beer. Dont get me wrong drinking and driving and motorized vehicle is wrong but i think this is getting out of control now. cheers!

thats cool i never knew largies made it that far north. i would use senkos and 7 inch power worms for largies. i do well fishing the weeds. top water also works well but for me i tend to only catch them at night on top water. Cheers!

in the 70 and 80 the moon used to produce walleye like the bay of qunite does now. wish i was around back then!!!!! its been a few years but the moon is a fish factory if you get on them the right time of year. lots of smallies! lots of pike and muskie. The record muskie came out of the moon. (blackstone harbour) cheers!
