for me it depends on the day. I work like 70hours a week so its nice to check in on here and see whats happening to get away form the stress of work. I have a 2 year old son so most of the weekends are spent with him and the misses. I tend to be on here way more in the summer reading the reports being envious of all you who get to fish 30x more then i do. I have been a member here for 3 or 4 years now so i think it is very addicting. Of all the sites i have signed up for over the years this one is the only one i have contiunued to be active in. There are way worse things to be addicted to lol Cheers!

i have never fished stoney lake, i used to fish rice alot, now i fish nipissing more then anything. Rice is close to the gta but the boat traffic can be pretty crazy. Nipissing is a couple hours further away but the scenery is far greater then rice lake. The fishing is great in june for walleye in most parts of the lake. CHeers!

since i sell retail i know a bit about things like this. In some cases brands actually do the private label product for retailers. So the bass pro shop brands could very well be the same product as berkley, strike king etc.... and its just in a different package. I know bass pro shop, walmart, ctc, homedepot, lowes, homehardware all do this. It helps promote there business. And yes sometimes it is product made offshore that they can sell at higher margin, but alot of cases its for there promotional benifit more then profit. Cheers!

i owuld try valens if you want to be close to home. there is good pan fish there and if the camping fishing thing is to much for the little ones your close to african lions safari to keep them enertained lol If you really want to go out of town. Restoule pp has decent facilites and there is great fishing on tons of lakes in and around the area. Im actually fishing this area this summer after a great time last year. CHeers!

My personal fav show is Next bite. That says alot since im a bass guy and they are not lol Simply fishing/musky hunter are good shows Getting hooked is a great show to. The other day when it was snwoing i watched an episode where they where fishing a new body of water for musky. No guides, no big famous fish factory lodge. THey actually had to leave one lake and go to another one casue it wasnt working out for them n the first one. TO me this was a real fishing experience. This episode puts them in my top 5 shows Extreme angler-i mentioned i didnt give them a chance until they became advertisers here but im glad they did, There show is now a fav of mine and there staff that are members here contribute in a great way and help make this board stronger. I guess i like to see guys fish without guides, without fishing honey holes that they know where fish are. I like it to be as real as possible. And yeah i liek to here about there sponsors. Its what allows them to produce there show that i watch so i dont mind hearing about new products and such. Cheers!

like both shows! fnc show when they were acting like idiots and beep beeping was a big turn off for me but the way the show is now is much better then a few years back IMO. i felt like some of the other board members did about extreme angler with there loud music but when i saw there ad on here i gave them a chance and now i really enjoy there show! as well as the comments from there staff on this board. they seem to be just like us on here! the plus is they have a fishing show there part of. im glad they are on this board. as for the viagra brothers and bowman. i have heard that they are some of the finest people you could ever run into on the water or on the street! maybe they did make some mistakes on the format of the show a couple years ago but they still are one of the best rated and longest running shows out there. just my thoughts! cheers!

my mom moved here from poland when she was 14. alone! now that takes guts!!! although she would tell you it was a dream come true the day she left poland. as for the snow.....i personally love it! the clean crisp air with the trees all covered and white. its aesome! untill the cars hit the road for monday rush hour and everything turns brown lol cheers!

Hey If you are that far up north for opener then they still may be in the spawn or in there spawning areas. If they are just out of the spawn then you should be in luck. Just find the baitfish they are feeding on and you should find the walleye. In the lakes in southern ontario its easy you just follow the boats lol. up north you haev to work for it but if you do find the spot and your the only guy on the water.....look out it will be awesome. cheers!
