  1. people convinced george bush to go to war over weapons of mass destruction tat never existed? funny how many of his assioates own defence stocks. For the right amount of money i am willing to bet you can convince a politician(s) to particpate in something like banning fishing, and with all this green talk and save the planet you have to think that it is somewhat of a real threat! Cheers!
  2. right on, good first post for sure! welcome! Cheers!
  3. Hi All, I had this emailed to me and it looks like they are trying to pass a bill that would make killing an animal or fish illegal even if it dies accidental. Holy ____ that would serious put a damper on fishing in this country!!!!! Please read! http://www.csia.ca/media/FEDERAL_ANIMAL_CR...LEGISLATION.pdf
  4. i know the area well! Cecebe is shallow, mud weed bottom. Lots of smaller walleye and sauger! lots of pike and good smallie action. Ahmic is awesome, there are big walleye in there but harder to catch in summer as they go deep to feed on smelt. I caught a bunch using smelt imitading baits. in about 40-50 feet of water in the summer! smallie fishing is great too! Beaver is full of pike and i was catching so many small ones i headed back to ahmic last year to try for bigger ones. I also caught a few largies in beaver but the small pike were just driving me to nuts to stay at it. If you are staying on cecebe, try to go to goose lake at the bottom of cecebe. I am curious to see how good the fishing is in that lake. CHeers!
  5. i was waiting for one of the guys on this site that are in teh fishng show business to chime in. I was going to say, that out of all the canadian shows i watch I cant say i have seen any evidence of this at all! I think the indusrty has changed and people would not accept this at all like maybe they use to 10 to 15 years ago. Cheers!
  6. welcome aboard! good to see more friends from south of the border signing up! Good luck with the stripper fishing! Cheers!
  7. i have caught alot of bass, pike, walleye using the 3 inch smelt. It is good bait there is no question about it in my mind. CHeers!
  8. about 15 years ago a friend of mine father ran over one with a lawnmower, a small one about 10 inches at the most. it was diffenatey a M rattler from what the mnr told him. Get this........It was in oakville close to the 16 mile creek area. I used to fish this area all the time when i was a kid. after that you sure watched your step walking down that area lol. I have never seen or heard of one that far east or that close to the gta before. I have heard they are in the elora area now as well. Cheers!

  11. its the time we now live in. Im not surprised. The johnson outboard rep told me a few years ago that suzuki makes there smaller outboard motors, they just put a johnson label on it becasue Johnson simply cant make it as cheap as suzuki can in there north american plant. He told me they have been doing that for years. Cheers!
  12. good pics and thanks for sharing your report! Cheers!

  14. i have facebook but so do the bosses at work and no way do i want them finding out how much time i spend here lol so i will stay away from the group. but great idea for a group though ! cheers!
  15. wow great fish! Cheers!
  16. one full days outing 8 hours didnt catch a fish. But i have been pretty lucky and have always got into a few even if they were smaller. I will admit that the last 8 or 9 years i have been fishing nipissing which makes it easy to catch a fish. they have everything in that lake. Cheers!
  17. i dont think its a cash grab at all. I personally did the test a few years ago and learned alot. I think for any younger person such as teenagers i think this is a great thing. Especially with all the personal water craft out there now. If it was a cash grab it would have to be renewed every year. Cheers!
