  1. i have heard great things about legends, my buddy has a 17ft with 60 4 stroke and he loves it! As for the motor, if you don't need to go fast then why bother upgrading? that being said if you are on lakes like simcoe, nipissing where you may need to get off the water in a hurry then higher hp is a good idea. Cheers!
  2. great report! Looks liek an awesome time! Cheers!
  3. the candian record large mouth came froma very small lake, i have seen 3 and 4 pounders myself caught in ponds 100x100. as long as the ponds dont dry up there is fish in them! Cheers!

  7. wow man that is really somthing to be proud of!!!! good health will keep you not only happier but keep you alive a few extra years longer to be on the water! As for the smokes, i quit 3 1/2 years ago, cold turkey. after 9 months i the cravings went away. now i never crave the cancer sticks! Feel great too! 10. Just for the total sports fans, today was a day that will go down as one of the greatest sport days in the history of sport. 2 athlets Micheal Phelps and Usain Bolt completely dominated. Phelps won an incredible 8 gold medals in the pool. Bolt dominated on the track with a record run of 9.69 in the 100 m race. The scary thing is he had a bad start and let up the last 15 m and it still wasn't even close. to put it in perspective in fishing realated terms. Phelps 8 golds is like catching 8 58inch muskies in an 8 day period. Bolts run would be like winning a 5 fish bass tourny by 15 pounds against the best bass fishermen in the world. It is just unreal to think about what these 2 men have done in there sports this weekend! Cheers!
  11. what a great report!!!! thanks for the awesome detail and great pics! Cheers!
  12. i love walking, its good for you and since i love bass i woudl take the long walk to the crappie with the chance at bass cheers!
  13. great report guys! Looks like a fun day on the boq! That 15pound largie picture made me laugh as I had a friend send me a link to a 5 pound fish and they were totally doing that to make it look bigger. oh and JB you need to get that foot looked at, looks painful Cheers!
  14. i have been biten, and it was a big gross bumb that i had to get removed by surgery. It came back from the lab as being infected from a spider bite. It is not fun and it left me a scar on my arm. Its not fun if you don't get it taken care of. cheers!
  15. sorry to rub this in, but my MIL loves fishing and is pretty cool lol Thanks for the report! Cheers!

  19. great report! Loved your report! those were some crazy little crayfish, Makes sense why fishing is great there with all those guys around! Cheers!
  20. that thing would be great for big fat bass! Cheers!
  21. this smallie was from last month out of the south bay. As for pike, they are all over the lake but the bigger ones should be in deeper water if you want the best shot at them. Im not sure fish bay has water deeper then 10 feet? I would venture out out of the south bay if i was really looking for big pike and musky. Smallies are all over the lake and last i heard (last week) fishing was a bit tougher but still very decent for smallies! Cheers!
  22. im voting for restoule as well. its a great part of our province that most overlook. fishing can be great but the scenery is why i like the area. cheers!
