  1. Easy. When you are writing your post, you can put pictures in your post. Look below the field that you are typing on right now, the box where it says 'attachments'. Hit the browse button, and fart around until you find the path on your pc that points to your picture. The path might be something like 'C:\Documents and Settings\Doug\My Documents\My Pictures\Sept27-03 029.jpg'. Another way to do this is to look at the picture, right click, and select 'properties'. This will also show you where you have this picture on your pc. Type or copy/paste the path to your upload picture in the type place and hit upload, or double click on your photo that appears in the browse field. This is what happens when you do just what I said. If you have a recent camera, you might have to shrink your pics. You can do this with Microsoft Photo Editor, or very likely, the sw that came with your digital camera. There is also a proper treatise on this on the FAQ forum . Sooner or later, you will just start messing with this until you get it to work. Lots o folks, well everyone really, went through the same learning process. PM me, or anyone, we all can help, but Rick O'Banion is the acknowledged expert, and an admin to boot. Mine are 10 1/2s. So, that's how we post pictures, how about a drop shot clinic? I'm available anytime, pretty much.
  2. Great post, Anatz. I know that feeling too, about putting on a clinic for the poor pitied folks around me. It happened once about 11 years ago...
  3. RR eats that water for breakfast. Great portraits, Garry. Thx.
  4. OK. For the record, I AM a rocket scientist, or manage them and take the credit. Most consumer electronics are designed to make it hard to hook them up, even with the book of words alongside to hlep. You also gotta know that my daughter and her bf regularly rearrange the TV/DVD/VCR/TVR combo. And it takes me all day to figger it out one more time.
  5. So that is obviously all in fun, but what the heck is going on with this? Here is some more.
  6. Mountain Equip Info from Goretex You're welcome.
  7. Amazing road trip in the making, there. Rombo, I scooped top tickets for Neil at Massey Hall in November.
  8. Did you receive a confirmation from Merland, Gerritt? Did they take your deposit? Regardless, I always bring a sleeping mattress and airbed with me on these trips. You are welcome to bunk with Dawg and me.
  9. Keep at it, Goran. Garmin has a great reputation for product and service, I'm sure that you will end up happier than you is now.
  10. I have trouble with that even standing up let alone at a dead run.
  11. BestBuy in Buffalo NY wants 499 US for a 76CSX, while GPS Central in Calgary (online ordering) is 419 CAD, no PST. Why shop south? The 60 CSX is the same price at GPS Central - $419, but there is a $50 rebate from Garmin. You can't beat that deal with a stick.
  12. Here is a GPS discussion forum on exactly this topic.
  13. Awwwwwwww. That's just so sweet. Youse guys are the best.
  14. Congratulations on that fine, fine catch, Ron. Attaboy!
  15. It's also possible in the current situation to have one party with only 40% of the votes, but all of the seats. There has got to be some way to fix that. I'd also like to see the Green Party get a voice at some time other than election time.
  16. There are lots of great folks on line right now, so bring yer own chair.
  17. SugarPacket, where did you go? A really excellent post, btw.
  18. I'll be there Thursday for lunch. What do you have planned, Glen?
  19. My 76csx works just fine sitting on my lap in the car or on the passenger's seat, no problem receiving and maintaining lock.
  20. I think that in this case, 'and' is a conjunction, O Little Furry one. Hope this hleps.
  21. Wow. All the good secret fishing spots in the world are given up, Mikey. Now you've gone and done it.
