  1. Please take a look at the sticky posted by TonyB. It would be great to see some GTA OFNrs there. Hope you can make it!
  2. When your baby is born, the blood contained in the umbilical cord (maybe placenta too, I don't know) is full of stem cells. These are the most basic and versatile of human cells, and can be used to treat a whole bunch of ills since they can change to be anything from bone marrow to liver cells. They are genetically suited to help your new baby or even other family members recover from things like radiation treatment for cancer.
  3. I just called Cansfield's constituency office and introduced myself, requesting a meeting with her on our behalf. Since this is a portfolio issue, any interviews or meetings will be done out of Queen's Park. Chief of Staff is Sarah Baker, who will contact me when she is good and ready. I'm interested in getting point of view from my brother who works for MNR out of Peterborough.
  4. Lovin the Orff 'O Fortuna' soundtrack.
  5. Brian at JB's replaced a tip for me on the spot, no charge, after I turned down his offer to contact the mfr for a warranty replacement. He used a type of powdered epoxy that he activated with a small butane torch. It took less than 2 minutes. By all means give Brian a call.
  6. Ahh yes, the size formerly known as FF.
  7. Already chatted with The Donna, before the election about the same topic. Will be very happy to get all up in her grill about this. I elected her, personally, so this is my chob. Gerritt, I will borrow conservatively from your post above.
  8. Remind me not to hire any of them. Fix your stress issue before you go to work. Otherhow, you are the problem of some emergency response team. Get Rid of Stress! Ha ha ah ha ha !! Lol. Makes me laugh so large.

  14. Ted, did you say 'room in the boat'? There might be a a coupla folks who can really make a difference in your fuel expense. Mebbee provide a gweech or two. Also bringing spare airbed and pump, no worries for floorspace. Docking your ride might be another thing tho.
  15. Ed Zachary. Seems a little obnoxious, without knowing all the info. Heard that one before a time or 2. This is really a question of and to the Moderators. Be it resolved that, for a positive and involved experience for the members and readers who drive traffic and income, that posters judged to be in contravention of our agreed rules be informed why or in what way their submissions are are in default, by direct communication, with clear direction for remediation where it is appropriate. I can argue for the affirmative. Anyone?
  16. I agree with not fishing that amazing happening, just something to enjoy and wonder about. Great post, solopaddler and ccmt. Thanks much.
  17. G2G is weekend of November 17. Sry for not replying earlier. Good luck when you go.
  18. Jen, please consider carefully getting published. Contact Justin Hoffman, I am sure he would be happy to help you make some connections in the publishing world.
  19. That was a scary time for a while, Joey. We are all proud that you stepped up, squared up and dug in. Congratulations to a fine, fine lady.
  20. Looking like a Faux Farm ballcap to me. Dang Cajuns.
  21. I found out the hard way that someone with my name AND date of birth declared bankruptcy. Don't need Google for that.
  22. Meely, very important to spit all over your knot as you are drawing it tight. You'll be able to tell if the knot is drawing up properly.
  23. Sounds great, Emil. What Terry said about modifying the existing trailer so that the drawbar can be swung to the side so that it will fit inside your garage.
