  1. Sry, Mike, that wasn't clear. I've caught seldom fish outa Roy's boat, and fewer in his home water. Usually the skunk is the typical catch in Boucherville, with me as well. At least the paella is sine qua non. Ne plus ultra, si vous voulez.
  2. Very nice, Vator, that was a great recount of some fine times with the wee tads. GoodOnya, wishing me. As well, welcome. Pretty dang sure you will work out ok. Just get the picture thing working and all will be falafel and skittles. We like pictures.
  3. Izzat yer plan for the BoQ wallies in November, Glen? Bring yer snuggies, I might add.
  4. She doesn't like him more than we do, Joey.
  5. In the LARRY? Fer chrissakes, Roy and I were anchored off the east island in Boucherville at night, jigging walleye, and every 10 minutes it sounded like someone was flipping telephone poles into the river. KASPLASH. These were large fish, 20-30 lbs I guess, completely clearing the water. Sorta scary really. What would you do with a 30 lb dinosaur on your line at midnight?
  6. Great news, Kirk. Congratulations to you and your wife. New life is a wonder and a joy for sure.
  7. Attagrrl, Joey. I like your eye with the camera there. The other one, the one without the camera, I like too. Ok, ok, I like em both. Thanks for your report.
  8. Great report, Pete. Congrats to you, Lew and to EddyK too on that nice fish.
  9. Da'sh some foine pictures dere, b'y. Dat pond w' de missus on dat stone looks right some jaisus cam, b'y.
  10. Nice shot, Mike^2. I would think that you were lying belly down in the goose poop to get that angle.
  11. Gorgeous. Quite a bargain. Refinishing furniture and realizing $60/hour for your effort is a nice job.
  12. Wonderful, Brandon. I hope you can keep those pictures coming for us flatlanders here. I'd like to watch the seasons change. Please.
  13. Sure hope you can make it, Glen. I can work my schedule around yours no problem. As for the weather, I'm sure it will be fine. It almost always is.
  14. I was hoping to run into Mr. Maw near Red Lake this past July. I was going to tell him that he's famous!
  15. Glen, you know how close to the airport I am. It would be a pleasure to have you pay for my gas on the trip to Merland. Mebbee on the way back too, if you play your cards right. BiteMe, that's another 'aye' from douG.
  16. Nice hefty lakers you got there.
  17. Four weeks paid after 10 years of service to the mother corp. It's not bad as I get to schedule it pretty much whenever I want it. Three weeks away from work for the whole year is not enough imo.
  18. Better directions to the ramp in town would be to take the first street north, just east of the bridge. Dad launched his 1750 deepV there no problem. If you continue north, the next street east of the bridge ends at the beach with lots of free parking nearby.
  19. What a great thread. I sure am luvin the OFC.
  20. Thanks to JoAnne and Pete, and to Pamela too. Very fine and true folks here all around. Best to you, Lew.
  21. No. Reel repairs is Aikman's on Dundas west of hwy 10. Bait is Angling Specialties. And again, Raf is the guy you were thanking, don't know who Jeff is. Hope this hleps.
  22. Clearly everyone thinks you should have one.
  23. Good link, Snowball. Sounds pretty darn easy to me. Mebee with a coupla hundred hours practice, I could do that. I have a flute, too, currently working that one on the same plan.
  24. Milty, I've had 10 fish days on Opeongo, and other 4 day trips that stunk. My free advice is worth every penny. Best to you and your crew.
