  1. At least they got the windshields clear, good to go.
  2. Nice job by Mr. Sorensen. A great tribute to the boots on the ground. Peace and freedom will prevail.
  3. Fantastic, Bunk. Thanks for another great one. This one is due to be published too.
  4. Holy Cow, Shelley! Just a little envious, me.
  5. Sounds like a great reason to get out fishing together, with gas and gweeches on me, Mike. Best...
  6. That was a great link from Guido, OOD, and Gord Pyzer. I am going to be targeting brookies (specks as the old guys say) on the N shore of Superior about 100 mi west of Wawa at the end of May. I will be working all these suggestions, with thanks to all. Add to bookmarks....
  7. There is also a yogic practice of flushing out your sinuses with warm salt water using something called a neti pot (go ahead and google it). They say it helps when you get a cold. Never tried it tho.

    Hello

Welcome to our little village. You will find that we are a little more tolerant than some other boards in terms of photo subject matter, but I am sure you will use your own educated judgement. Why don't you post some old pictures? We love pictures.
  9. Both flu and colds are caused by viruses, and once you got em, there isn't much you can do except rest in bed, drink plenty of fluids, and take Aspirin. No drug plan necessary.
  10. I will speak for me and my second cousin, A Fine FISH!! Terry was the last I saw that caught a fish in that class but smaller, but that was 5 years ago. Tremendous!
  11. How do I get a job where all I do is say, "That shore is a happy fish there, Buzz. Nyuk nyuk nyuk,"?
  12. When my time comes, I want to die quietly in my sleep like my grandfather, not terrified and screaming. Like the passengers in his car.
  13. Norm, I've been grinding coffee since before Christmas, when the topic of really good beans was discussed here. I like a nice strong cup of coffee as much as the next person, but I find one tbsp is plenty per cup. Those are nice thermoses too.
  14. That dog looks a little green. He should be riding coach. Hope this hleps.
  15. Agree w/ Dano. Bonk, bleed, clean, ice, and eat. Rinse and repeat. It's all about respect. I don't like the idea of cutting into something that is still alive. No matter how tasty, like those Simcoe perch tonight. *brap*
  16. Thank you, Mike, and congratulations on your success, what a blast!
  17. Attaboy, Pete. Kudos to you and Bro'. That is crazy water to fish for sure.
  18. IMO, Hummers should be given, not driven.
  19. A description for each photo isn't really necessary, as the good stuff has been said before in earlier posts. As you can see, it was a wonderful day on Simcoe, with robins' egg skies, almost no breeze, and temperatures that rose to the freezing mark. It was tremendous to meet up again with old friends and share some stories, lies, and laughs. It was an honour to be part of Maureen's annual do once again, and to be part of this great group of folks.
  20. I always give 'em a Parry Sound Severe. Bonk 'em.
