  1. Looks like a job for Jesse James and the Monster Garage...
  2. Bring it for sure! Most likely you can catch cudas and jacks from shore with silver spoons and xraps.
  3. nice job Rick!
  4. I think you would be fine with one more rod and reel (uless you have cash to blow) Chances are you pobably wont be targeting musky right away (if you do you need heavy gear - some people will use up 80lb braded line) Your best chances of success are perch, Crappie and Bass - you can catch these with light to medium gear, although I use at least 30lb braided line on my regular setups. If you want a challenge, go for musky, but make sure you are well prepared (leaders, plyers, nets, bravery, heavy line)
  5. You lef tout the part where you said to him " No offense, but I hope I never see you again." just before the engine fired up. Thanks for havign me out Brian!
  6. I'd say with 99% certainty tha twit is fake.
  7. I've got a twonie and a ride thanks to Slowpoke!
  8. I used to use eagle claw - now I go for Mustad usaully. I also like VMC and gamagatsu REcently I have used VMCs since that have great trble with a single hok that stick out beyond the other two
  9. I'd love to come! I also have a shiney new lure I just made for any one kind enough to give me a lift!
  10. I may be able to make it Sunday - I have no car though... (or boat) so if you are making an offer Brian - may take you up on it!
  11. Baitcasts are held the opposite of spinning - on top of the rod, not below. You just pick which is most comfortable. I am right handed, but like a left hand retrive so i have my strong arm holding the rod - providing better fight control. Just about every major manufacturer WILL infact offfer right and left hand reels, but not always available in all sizes.

  19. nice report! A friendly tip for for helping the dial up users, make the image size under 100k each - the image at the top is 500 x 382 pixels and 156k, it could have been compressed to under 70k without a noticable differance in quality. Even at 640x480 you can have an image bellow 100k in size. heres an example of a 640x480 image that is only 54k in size. Should load really quickly for dial up users!
  20. nice!
  21. sweet! The look of disapointment was priceless!
  22. AT lesat 50lb power pro, but 65 or 80(as lew said)is probably best. I think its better to use a tough braid while learning fora a couple reasons, 1. Less breakage 2. When you have a birdsnest you can often PULL the knots out with brute force (of course this sometimes means you will make the knot tighter) With mono you will strech line, or break it whiel tryign to forcefully undo birdsnests.
  23. I have a copy of it And an old Mick Brown pike series aswell.
