I buy the 25 yard spools of seagar and make 10-12 inch leaders usually. As long as its 100% fluro, I cant see them being any different.

Most of the Cabelas and BPS items are exactly the same as the offical items. I dont mind saving a buck or two and using a knockoff.

I havent used a St Croix, but I LOVE my Shimano Compre!

Not too sure - we were heading in the right direction a couple years ago, but the all mighty dollar has been holding us back. We wanted to put together a show with no advertising from sponsors - the TV execs dont really go for that kind of thing - no sponsors - no money obviously, and we cant fund the project ourselves. We'll just be posting episodes on the web only, but they are gonna be few and far between until we come up with some cash. We filmed about 12 hours of footage last May without a camera man (sort of like Survivor man) I haven't gone though it all yet, but hopefully its turned out ok.

I used to love all the shows on TNN back in the day. Roland Martin, In-Fisherman, Bill Dance, Fish Fishburn, and the guy in the Atlanta hat. I ahvent watched many new shows - all I get here in Halifax is FNC, Bob Izumi, and a local show. The format I'd like to do with Fishing Fury is to keep the action as the show, and then have the tips and tricks as seperate videos avialable on the website. After reading all this, I really need to find some time between rasing my son and woring 2 jobs to edit our pike video from LV 2007! I'm gonna try and take all these tips into account!!

I wont effect me sicne i'm mainly a shore fisherman, but im sure the people with big boats will be fishing less!

I wouldnt say either of those shows are my favorite, but they are better then a lot fo the fishing shows out there. I do feel FNC has gone down hill though - at least Bowman is always good for a laugh.

When I was a teller at CIBC we wouldnt take a card (Credit or Debit) without a signature. Never saw one with "Ask for ID" though but as long as you have other valid ID (passport, drivers license...), it shouldnt be a problem

I think the Pete Maina combos at BPS are a good choice at a fair price. My fishing partner used one last spring for pike ( I think he had an 8 foot rod) and was very impressed with the quality.

My 45 incher 25-30lbs(estimated, didnt actually measure it - although i estimated on the shorter side, its probably closer to 47inches) and the winning 53 incher, 43lbs... hmmmm...

I cant belive my pike didnt make the list!
