I have too agree I used to be a die hard Nascar fan but I now find the majority of races to be very boring but I could always count on Talledega for some great racing but after what I saw yesterday I may be down to one race a year Daytona lets hope they don`t screw that up.

Try the web site digitalhomecanada and ask the same question.

The habs did not let #44 go they made him a good offer he decided he would take his career -27 stat and play for Edmonton. And for the record Montreal drafted 1 european last year and that was in the 6th round I just wish they would start drafting some europeans like Malkin,Ovechkin, etc. And by the way was that Raycroft in net last nite watching pucks go through his legs? LOL

Converting a boat to a dream walleye boat
lookinforwalleye replied to DonC's topic in General Discussion
I certainly admire anyone who has the skill and patience to take on such a project and the finished product has some features I wish I had on my rig but I think if you added 10-12 grand or more for labour your at 32+ grand, you can get a lot of boat for that money in the States I would guess near Pro V money. -
Well is it not an offense according to the highway traffic act to drive a vehicle that is over loaded. Any insurance brokers out there have a answer?
-
I know this topic has been kicked around numerous times but I am curious if anybody knows the answer to this. I was luanching Saturday at Beaverton and I saw a guy pulling a 17 foot Legend excalibur with a Impala and another guy pulling a 16 foot Crestliner with a Mazda 3 the question is not about towing capacity because obviously the cars are not rated to tow these loads but rather on insurance given these cars have towing capacities of 1000 lbs max. I was wondering if anybody knows what an insurance company would say if these people got into a accident while towing.

I love it motor wars everybody has a preference my is Yamaha so far so good. When I was looking I tried to find a dealer who put E-Tecs on his packages and could not find one.

I heard the blasting bright and early Saturday morning, I spoke to a couple of hunters at Goreskis and they said they had never seen so many duck on Scugog. No doubt the abnormal weed growth this year played a part. Maybe I should sell my Shimano`s and buy a shotgun!
-
I am partial to Shimano rods resonable price and a liftime warranty. I don`t think you would go wrong with Clarus or a Compre the M/H would be too heavy for some finesse Walleye jigging.

Yes it is a great system isn`t it every time a kid gets a sniffle or a hang nail off to the doctor they go. I recently made an appointment for a physical and I have to wait 6 months, I don`t think a new doctor has set up shop in Orangeville in a decade although there is a dentist on every corner. Canadian system is great if your healthy or if your dying if you fall somewhere in between that`s where you might have a problem.

Here we go again! This guy Nelly obviously likes to stir the pot plain and simple and Stuntman it`s unfortunate that you consider members with differing opinions than yours whiner`s. Okay mods lock it up cause you no where this is headed.

Looks like food to me!

You really like to stir the Musky pot don`t you pal.

Good timing on this subject I was thinking about this last night as the wife`s truck is getting a little tired. Apparently there has been a lot of cross border shopping for big ticket items such as cars apparently the biggest hurdle you will face is finding a US dealer that will sell you a vehicle. From what I understand it`s not all that difficult to bring a car in but there are some rules the web site RVI.ca will have the answers.I have read numerous stories of dealerships being ordered by the factory not to sell to Canadians in order to protect there gouging Canadian dealers. A couple of things to keep in mind if the car is not made in North America you will have to pay duty and of course you still have to pay GST and PST and one other thing to clarify some companies will not honor warranties on a car that is brought over the border that however might be a gamble worth taking if you can save 20K on a truck.

I agree Terry I find the term offensive this comes up often on this site and last year if I recall correctly there was a heated discussion on this topic and I let my feelings know. Tell me what is the difference between a guy enjoying his day on the side of the road catching sunfish and rockbass and a guy sitting in his boat on Lake Simcoe throwing a wack of jumbo perch in his live well???? What`s the difference?

Need some advice on buying new boat

With all do respect I think you meant to say that your skinny little Lund can handle the big lake when it`s calm. I would not want to be on the big lake in a boat with an 84" beam when the wind picks up a bit but thats just me. I`am a confirmed chicken crap when it comes to big waves and a small boat they don`t mix. -
Matt you should send that Legend manager a link to this thread.
-
Well thats to bad the manager has that attitude and that would explain the lousy service if the manager does not care why would anybody else. I would think he has lost business due to your post and serves him right. Power to the people!

I had great service from Seaway Marine in Whitby this past spring, I needed some work done in a hurry so I would not miss the Walleye opener most people wanted me to wait 2-4 weeks, Seaway had me on the water in time for the opener.
-
Just go to Scugog if it takes you longer than a hour to get your first slimmy then your doing something wrong.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Uncle Buck and that guy would come up to Bucks waist.
