Hello, I will be spending some time this summer up at a buddy's cottage on the moon river close to bala, ontario. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck fishing there and could give me a few tips or what to look for? anything really would help. I was there for a few days this past weekend and had no luck. I got one bite and landed a smallie of the dock! that was after hours on the boat!!!! I belive we are in Gaunt's Bay? Thank you in advance for any help. Rodman.

Help, I've riped out all my old wiring and have started to replace it with marine grade wiring. I installed a new fuse/rocker illuminated 6 switch panel on the dash, made the connections for my new fishfinder, VHF radio, bielge pump and running lights. I tested the running lights and nothing. I ran a cable from the battery to the panel, (positive battery to the positive terminal on the panel and same thing for the negative) new wire from the white light and red/green light, spliced them together and connected to the panel,(positive wires to the "pigtail" on the panel and negative wires to the negative terminal on the panel). When I connected the battery, the illuminated switch on the panel lit up. When I flipped the switch, nothing happened. I know the lights work because I touched the wires directly to the battery terminals and they came on. What am I doing wrong? Any help or advice would be much appriciated. Thank you.

Whent up last night 'bout 10pm and stayed till just after midnight. It rained the entire time, hard. Thunder and lightning what a sight... but not a single bite. Tried crankin' some crayfish looking crankbait, white and pink fuzzy grub and a pink and white twin blade spinnerbait with a bungee worm and nothing. My partner was bottom bouncing with a jig tip with worm and using an erie deerie also no luck. We where at the government dock in Ceasarea. There was one local there and all he had was one rock bass. WHERE HAVE ALL THE FISH GONE? Has any one had a success lately? thanks.

I'm heading out there later tonight, any hints on walleye? If i can get the boat started i'll be launching from Caesarea. Otherwise it's the gov dock or over by the highway. So far I've gathered pink and weedless, any other tips? Thanks. Sorry about the hijack, but for whatever reason I can't seem to start a new topic... I just freezes and then crashes.
